sierpnia o godzinie: 14:15 w katedrze Świętego
Imienia przy zbiegu ulic Superior i State w Chicago.
Podczas uroczystości Arcybiskup Carlo Maria
Vigano, nuncjusz apostolski Stanów Zjednoczonych

Kurs Przedmałżeński
Kurs przedmałżeński w naszej parafii
rozpocznie sie 13 wrzesnia 2015
roku. Wszystkich zaintersowanych
prosimy o kontakt z biurem parafialnym pod
numerem telefonu 1 773 637 6565 wew.102.
Rozpoczęły się juz zapisy na ten kurs.
Szanujmy Miejsca Święte
Przypominamy, ze wybierając sie do kościoła nalezy
pamietaćo tym,że światynia nie jest miejscem
rekreacji lecz kultu. Ubranie powinno zasłaniać
ramiona, brzuch oraz nogi. Nasz strój w kościele
świadczy o nas jako chrześcijanach. Zbyt skapy ubiór
może rozpraszać innych wiernych i przeszkadzać im
w przeżywaniu liturgii.
Przynależność do Parafii
Ponownie apelujemy o zapisywanie sie do naszej
parafii, aby uniknąć niepotrzebnych komplikacji w
przygotowaniu do sakramentów. Aby otrzymac
zaświadczenie róznego rodzaju trzeba być zapisanym
w parafii przynajmniej 6 miesięcy i korzystać z
kopertek, które otrzymujecie pocztą.
ŚW. ROCH (1295-1327)
rodziców i wyruszył do Rzymu. Zaskoczyła go tam
epidemia dżumy. Postanowił pozostać na miejscu i
pomóc chorym w miejscowym szpitalu. Przebywając w
Wiecznym Mieście, zasłynął wieloma cudownymi
uzdrowieniami.
W drodze powrotnej do Francji zaraził się dżumą. Aby
nie przenosić choroby na innych, schronił się w
pobliskim lesie, Panu Bogu polecając staranie o siebie.
Tam według legendy wytropił go pies, który przynosił
mu codziennie pożywienie. Po cudownym powrocie
do zdrowia wyruszył w dalszą drogę. Na granicy
francuskiej wzięto go za szpiega i wtrącono do
więzienia. Policja miała to uczynić na polecenie wuja
św. Rocha, burmistrza miasteczka w którym złapano
Świętego. Przez pięć lat nierozpoznany przebywał w
więzieniu, gdzie zmarł 16 sierpnia 1327 roku.
Mieszczanie z Montpellier rozpoznali go po znamieniu,
jakie nosił od urodzenia. Pod jego głową znaleziono
kartkę z napisem, że ci którzy będą wzywali pomocy
św. Rocha w czasie zarazy, zostaną uleczeni.
Gdy sobór w Konstancji w 1414 roku był zagrożony
epidemią dżumy zorganizowano publiczną procesję i
modlitwy za wstawiennictwem św. Rocha. Jego
znaczenie jako patrona ratującego od zarazy wzrosło
znacząco po kolejnej epidemii, jaka nawiedziła Italię w
latach 1477-79.
Św. Roch jest patronem Montpellier, Parmy, Wenecji i
wielu innych włoskich miast, ogrodników, rolników,
szpitali, więźniów, osób fałszywie oskarżonych,
pielgrzymów, aptekarzy, lekarzy, brukarzy i krawców.
Wzywany jest w obronie przed zarazą, wścieklizną,
problemami z kolanami i chorobami skóry.
