Focus Time: the symbols of Halloween: video (ghost, witch, pirate, Jack-o’ Lantern,
monster, ballerina, astronaut, angel, mummy, black cat, bat, etc. Action Sequences game.
Dex Says … game.
Where’s The Pumpkin? Game.
• Hide the pumpkin flashcard somewhere in the classroom.
• Dex calls Pumpkin! Where are you? Encourage the children to join you in looking for the
pumpkin. • When someone finds the card the teacher says: Ah ha! Look! Here’s the
Pumpkin, ect.

Circle Time/Ending Time. Songs and activities.
6. Closing time: Reflection. Bye-bye song.

sticker, table.
Aims: to successfully sequence a story; to participate in a role play.

Table Time: Worksheet presentation. Worksheet activity. Tidy up chant. Fold your
arms chant.

Extra Activities. A. Pass The Crayons game TB p164 (Draw a large Jack O ’Lantern
on a sheet of white paper. Play some music whilst children sit in a circle. They pass round
two crayons – orange and yellow. Stop the music. Each child with a crayon colours part of
the Jack O’Lantern.
Dex’s whispers B.
Dex whispers one of the Halloween words to a child.
The word is whispered around. The last child stands up and says the word out loud.

6. Extra Activities. Make pumpkin masks Use paper plates to make pumpkin masks.
Children decorate the masks to look like pumpkins. Children sit in a circle with the
Halloween flashcards Pass Dex game TB p164 face up in the middle.
Play some music whilst the children pass Dex around. Stop the music. Say Where’s the
(witch)? The child holding Dex picks up the correct flashcard.
Dex Says … game TB p163
• Put the Halloween flashcards around the classroom.
• Say Dex says … be a (ghost). The children do the mime for ghost.
• Say Be a (witch). The children do not do the mime. They should only do the mime if you
say Dex says….
• Dex praises and encourages the children, saying Well done! Excellent! Good effort! Keep
on! Try again! etc.


Stajemy do kręgu i wykonujemy ruchy podczas piosenki: „Walking, walking....,
running, running...Now let’s stop!” , „See the little bunnies sleeping till the noon...
“This is my favorite pumpkin!

Zakończamy lekcję „The goodbye song”.

Czynimy gimnastykę; „Heads, shoulders, knees and toes…, tańczymy “This is my

 Uczymy się piosenkę: Knock-knock, trick-or-treat, who are you?”
 Powtarzamy liczenie do 5.
