PL Stanisław Maciaszczyk – ein Absolvent von PWSSP in Poznan, interdisziplinäres Diplom im Atelier von Professor Tadeusz Jackowski im Jahre 1976. Maler, Grafik-Designer, Inhaber einer Werbeagentur. DE Stanisław Maciaszczyk – a graduate of the Poznan-based PWSSP, diploma work in the atelier of professor Tadeusz Jackowski, in 1976. Painter, graphic designer, owner of advertising agency. To przekaz spójny i zindywidualizowany. Prace można śmiało nazwać miniaturami, bo też powstają z właściwą miniaturze precyzją i dbałością o detal. Gamy niuansów kolorystycznych i specyficzną fakturę tworzą cierpliwie nakładane warstwami akwarela i pastelowe kredki. Hanna T. If you dare abandon it, you miss its magic dearly, the atelier’s atmosphere, the smell of paints, the colour, the freedom of movement, the unrestrained expression... If you choose to devote yourself to other disciplines whilst staying in the artistic environment, even with all its corresponding creativity and the ability to let your imagination run wild, you often find yourself tangled up with rules, and providing for comissioned work – just as Stanislaw Maciaszczyk did during the years spent as a designer and director of his advertising agency. Finally, after a long hiatus and somewhat fearful, the painter has returned to his lifelong passion. Initially, it may seem that practice makes perfect. But in the case of the artist it is the mind, not the hand that bares importance – the mind in which over the years the accumulated experiences, sentiments, reflec- Zielone pastwiska / Grüneweiden / Green pastures tions and sights have matured and now seek outlet. It EN is in this way that we do not leave the place in which the journey has been interrupted. In this newly built space, smearing beyond the limits of a narrow-set square, massive and dynamic forms invade the work – painted with light and coulour either soft and delicate or sharp and aggressive. At times lazy and draping, these forms in which we seek to recognise shapes stumble over each other in suggestive motion. At times, these forms veil the surrealistic landscapes stretching over them, at times they offer a window to them. They give out fleeting emotions, irresponsible yet encouraging imagination and dreamery. A clue may be found in the titles of the works, to which the artist attaches great importance. A powerful contrast forms the expression and force of these messsages, not seldom on the border of risk – an experiment mocking standards, poignantly underligning the lack of relation to the material world. This collision of the pulsating and chaotic cosmos with the small-sized papers on which they were captured comes through almost as shocking. You can call them miniatures. They exist through their precision and attention to detail. Painstakingly layered over each other – with aquarels and pastels – they create a scope of colouristic nuances and a specific texture. You can like the painting or not, gives yourself over to the bewitching dance of colours and codes in which human dilemmas, fears and aspirations are deeply engraved, or not- but you cannot, by any means, pass them by carelessly.
