Podsumowanie panelu: “ Budowanie marki eksportowej i jej przynależności do regionu lub kraju” 11.06.2015 prowadzonego przez Joannę Engländer-Brzozowską W panelu uczestniczyło 3 zaproszonych gości. Pani Katarzyna Matuszak, Dyrektor Działu Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości z Agencji Rozwoju Pomorza reprezentowała Gdańsk. Pan Illimar Paul, Kierownik Rozwoju w Estońskim Klastrze Logistycznym oraz właściciel marki eksportowej związanej z logistyką “Transestonia” reprezentował Estonię oraz pan Volodymyr Yemelyanov Doktor Nauk Administracji Publicznej, Dyrektor Instytutu Administracji Publicznej na Czarnomorskim Państwowym Uniwersytecie reprezentował Ukrainę. Panel rozpoczęła ekspercka prezentacja Pana Paula na temat “Globalnej promocji usług logistycznych w Estonii”. Pan Paul przedstawił sposób działania klastra logistycznego, korzyści jakie płyną z członkostwa, wymienił narzędzia wspomagające rozpowszechnianie i budowanie marki eksportowej. Z pasją odpowiadał na pytania publiczności, opowiadał o działalności edukacyjnej oraz wadze misji gospodarczych w budowaniu ujednoliconej marki eksportowej. Następnie zabrał głos pan Volodymyr Yemelyanov, który w swojej prezentacji przedstawił atrakcyjność regionu Mikołajewskiego na Ukrainie. Goście panelu w dalszej dyskusji poruszyli kwestię sukcesu marki oraz przynależności marki do regionu. Pan Paul podkreślał atrakcyjność Gdańska jako miasta portowego wskazując jednocześnie na historyczne znaczenia tego miasta w regionie Morza Bałtyckiego. Podkreślał rosnące znaczenie Gdańska na mapie usług logistycznych oraz coraz większą konkurencyjność naszego regionu. W dyskusji dotknięto kilku ważnych tematów dotyczących budowania marki eksportowej jak działania edukacyjne, ujednolicenie wizerunku regionu, budowanie zaufania do marki, opieranie wizerunku marki na tym co znane i atrakcyjne, zakorzenione w historii i będące powodem do dumy. Wnioskiem podsumowującym panel było stwierdzenie iż markę należy budować jednocześnie budując markę regionu a wszelkie działania muszą być oparte na przejrzystości oraz muszą być wolne od korupcji. The summary of the panel: “ Building an export brand and its affiliation to a region or country” moderated by Joanna Engländer-Brzozowska The panel was attended by 3 panelists. Katarzyna Matuszak, Director of Business Development Department of the Pomerania Development Agency represented Gdańsk. Mr. Illimar Paul, Director of Development at the Estonian Logistics Cluster and the logistics brand owner "Transestonia" represented Estonia. The last panelist but not least was Mr. Volodymyr Yemelyanov Doctor of Public Administration, Director of the Institute of Public Administration on the Black Sea State University, representing Ukraine. Mr. Paul opened the panel discussion with his expert presentation on "Worldwide promotion of logistics services in Estonia". Mr. Paul presented the ways of operation of the logistics cluster, the benefits that come with membership, as well as the tools used to support the process of building a successful export brand. He also answered with great passion questions from the audience explaining the importance of educational activities as well as trade missions in building a unified successful export brand. The next guest, Mr Volodymyr Yemelyanov, presented the Nikolajev region and its attractiveness for foreign investors. The further panel discussion raised the question of what makes a successful export brand and the affiliation of the brand to a region or country. Mr. Paul emphasized the attractiveness of the port city of Gdansk as well as pointing out both the historical and nowadays significance of the city in the Baltic Sea region. He also emphasized the growing importance of Gdansk on the map of logistics services and increasing competitiveness of our region. The discussion touched several important topics concerning building an export brand, educational activities that promote unified image of a brand, building a trust in the brand, making the brand affiliated to what is known and attractive, rooted in history and being a source of pride. The final conclusion of the panel was a statement that whatever a brand is, it should be built based on transparency and free of corruption, and the process of building a brand should be accompanied by building an image of a region that the brand origins from.
