Dears Shihans, Senseis and Sempais,
As it’s being usual last years, we have a new edition, the 5th, of the Spanish International
Open, that will take place in Badalona (Barcelona) the next March 10th .
The profits of 2009 edition were dedicated to the Badalona Cancer Foundation. Months
later, my wife had to deal with that illness. So, I, as a director and promoter of the event,
have proposed to continue this edition with that important support to the Cancer
Foundation.
The box office revenues will go to the Cancer Foundation, just as 2009 edition. We have
also created a zero row (with a financial donation of 12 euros), so that competition
officials, participants or people of your environment that could not attend the Open could
also make donations.
All competitors will have a FEE to compete (12 euros), whose goal is the same, to help
the Cancer Foundation of Badalona.
Thanks in advance. We wait you all in that special edition of the Spanish Open, next 10th of
March.

Saturday 10th March, from 14:00 to 15:00 hours in Municipal Sports Center of Llefia
No participant will be weight out of the established timetable.
As the draw will have been made previously, any participant who will be out of the weight
declared for the category will be disqualified.

Compulsory protections IKO
Combat duration: two minutes non stop with compulsory decision.
Final extension of 1 minute.

NORMATIVA KATA
All categories will be governed by the rules IKO.
First Round: Geksai-sho
Finals: Seinchin, Garyu, Seipai, Kanku, Sushiho
COACH:
Each club must have a coach. His/her name and surname must be announced at
participant’s registration
Coach will enter to the Sports Centre will his team. In order to help organisation works, no
participant will be allowed to enter without his/her team and coach.

injuries that may be produce in this event.
