Valentine’s day in Poland
In Poland, we celebrate Valentine's Day on every 14th February. It is a day to celebrate
love. It is also an occasion to honour all women in the country. We know this day as
“Walentynki”. On this day many shops and restaurants are decorated with roses,
balloons and hearts. Men usually give valentine’s gifts to women. Traditional gifts are:
greeting cards, flowers like red roses and tulips, perfumes, candies and chocolates.
