OGÓLNY PLAN STUDIÓW MASTER IN PROSTHODONTICS
Program studiów ułożony jest przez doświadczony zespół praktyków, a specjalnie dla polskiej grupy zajęcia
są prowadzone w języku angielskim. Studia są również dostępne dla lekarzy, którzy nie zdawali LEP-u.
Zajęcia kliniczne organizowane są indywidualnie do potrzeb, możliwości i zainteresowań każdego z
uczestników. Zajęcia teoretyczno-praktyczne są prowadzone w małych grupach we Włoszech na terenie
uniwersytetu w Sienie. Dodatkowo jest możliwość rozszerzania programu studiów o uczestnictwo –
oglądanie zabiegów „live”.

Perio-prostho relations and occlusion
(articulator and face bowl)
Treatment planning and chief complaint are
evaluated inside prosthodontist area. Also
information on physiologic and pathologic
occlusion and correlated therapies will be
shown. Participants will have the opportunity
to visit patients and to discuss treatment
planning with faculty.

First visit, Fixed prosthodontics: preparation of full and partial crowns
Preparation of partial and full esthetic crowns will be shown and explained to
participants. Inlays, onlays, laminate veneers, full crowns for porcelain-fused-tometals, for zirconia and single-unit all porcelain crowns will be performed by
participants in extracted teeth. Different finish lines will be discussed and performed.
Video will be used for better explaining the concepts

Temporary restorations and impressions
Different materials for temporary restorations, their importance inside prosthodontics
treatment will be shown and participants will have to reline and to finish and polish
them. Also materials available for final impression will be discussed and participants
will have to make impressions on fantom mouth. Video will be used for better
explaining the concepts.

Reconstruction of endodontic treated teeth
When, why and how to place a post is a common question that any practitioner has to
answer after endodontically treating a tooth. During this presentation it will be
explained why fiber posts are more indicated than any metallic posts for restoring
endodontically treated teeth. Also clinical indications for selecting cases in which
place or not posts will be considered and bonding procedures to fiber posts’ surface
will be shown. Bonding into root canal procedures will be examined deeply and then,
clinical procedures for restoring endodontically treated teeth using fiber posts will be
presented. The clinical procedures and materials available for building up
endodontically treated teeth will be evaluated and presented. Finally, long term
clinical results, success and failures of fiber posts and clinical cases will be reviewed
following evidence base dentistry concepts and proposal of effective clinical protocol
will be presented. The main aspects will be explained with videos.

and impressions
During the internship in Siena, participants, divided in small groups will stay in the
clinic and possibly work on patients under control of tutors/faculty. Participants will
performed several clinical steps in different patients such as diagnosis and treatment
planning, prep and impression and temporary restorations, try-in and cementation
procedures.

Fixed prosthodontics on implant abutments part I
The fundamental of fixed prosthodontics on implants abutments will be covered
starting from diagnosis and treatment planning, some spots on implant surgery, and
then all clinical steps for restoring the patients prosthodontically.

Multidisciplinary approach to complex cases
During this meeting participants will show some clinical cases and they will be
discussed. Also complex cases based on multidisciplinary approach will be shown and
discussed.

Basic concepts on constructions of partial and complete removable denture will be
covered.

Cały program studiów jest otoczony zindywidualizowaną opieką nad grupą,
a do dyspozycji są wszyscy pracownicy uniwersytetu, co daje doskonały kontakt z wykładowcami.
Zajęcia kliniczne organizowane są indywidualnie do potrzeb, możliwości i zainteresowań każdego z
uczestników. Istnieje możliwość indywidualnej pomocy w przygotowywaniu przypadków i dokumentacji,
koniecznych do ukończenia studiów.
Przez cały okres trwania studiów jest prowadzona opieka i pomoc ze strony DenCo – co do koordynacji
terminów i potrzebnej dokumentacji oraz materiałów, a także pomoc w rezerwacji, hotelu, dojazdów itd.
Jako, że studia odbywają się w pięknie położonej Sienie w samym sercu przepięknej Toskanii istnieje
możliwość organizacji wyjazdu z osobami towarzyszącymi.
