AWARDS FARMA 2007
The Cup of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Director
of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture for “THE
MOST INTERESTING PROMOTION AT A STAND”.
The Ministry of Agriculture and the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of
Agriculture have published “Polish Food”, a magazine to promote and disseminate
information about food products, for 13 years. It reaches readers all over the world. It
reaches the European Union Commissioners, Members of the European Parliament and
ministers of agriculture from the EU Member States. It is available in Polish embassies
and foreign diplomatic units. It accompanies agricultural trade shows and exhibitions
all over the world.
Every year, the Editorial Board of “Polish Food” organises a competition for the most
interesting promotion at a trade fair stand. The competition jury decided to present
three equal awards (Cups of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the
Director of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture) this year.
The winners are:
Gniezno District
for attractive presentation of diversity and cultural heritage of the region.
Przedsiębiorstwo Hodowlano-Nasienne W. Legutko
for interesting and colourful presentation of offers and demonstration of breeding
achievements gained over 15 years.
Stowarzyszenie Branży Grzybów Uprawnych (Association of Mushroom
Growers)
for interesting presentation of modern technologies used in mushroom growing.
PIF Gold Medal
The Poznań International Fair Gold Medal is the most precious award presented at the
Poznań fair. This award is presented for products that combine top quality and the
latest technological solutions.
Having evaluated all entries to the Gold Medal Competition at FARMA, the Competition
Jury headed by Professor Grzegorz Skrzypczak decided to present awards to 15
products.

KRUS SAFETY SIGN
KRUS Agricultural Social Insurance Fund has issued voluntary certificates (KRUS
Safety Signs) for 12 years. The aim has been to increase commitment to proper
production and distribution of safe agricultural chemicals, equipment and protective
clothes for farmers. The President of KRUS has signed 51 authorisations issued to 21
producers for 149 products.
New products have been recently authorised to carry the KRUS sign.
Authorisation no. 52/2007 – the KRUS sign may be used for work clothes for
farmers including: work shirt, work trousers, overalls by “GRENE” Sp. z o.o.
from Modła Królewska near Konin
Authorisation no. 53/2007 – the KRUS sign may be used for a backpack manual
sprayer “NEPTUN 15 l” (capacity: 15 l) by “KWAZAR CORPORATION” Sp z o.o.
from Jaktorów Budy Grzybek near Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
Acanthus Aureus
The Acanthus Aureus Awards were presented by the Poznań International Fair to
exhibitors for stands whose design and preparation best contributed to the company’s
marketing strategy, helped to create a positive corporate image and facilitated
effective communication with the market. The awards were presented to exhibitors
(medals), designers (diplomas) and constructors (construction certificates).
