WORK
EXPERIENCE
I'm a poet, illustrator, essayist and translator.
I'm writing essays and illustrating for culture weekly Kultura Liberalna
where I'm also running a column featuring poems in translation
with a logo of my design.

I have been writing for Gazeta Wyborcza and literature quarterly Zeszyty
Literackie. Recently I have published poems of Heberto Padilla in my
translation.
At the moment I'm organizing a cycle of seminars devoted to poets related
with Warsaw, Dom Spotkań z Historią, Warsaw.
I was working at the Big Book Festival: I was responsible
for designing the programme booklet, editing publications
and illustrating, (bigbookfestival.pl).

I designed and illustrated a book about a Polish
writer Jaroław Iwaszkiewicz (“Spotkać Iwaszkiewicza. Nie-biografia",
Król & Wilk Oficyna Wydawnicza, Warszawa, 2014).
I'm working on illustrations for the next book about Iwaszkiewicz which
will be published next year by Król & Wilk Oficyna Wydawnicza.
I'm cooperating with a Visual Collective and Niemywska Grynasz Studio.
I'm drawing, designing and helping in a creative process. At the moment
we are working on a new ceramic set, (niemywskagrynasz.com).
For last two years I was working for Dorota Kędzierzawska,
film director, and Arthur Reinhart, camera operator, supporting
their project Polska Światłoczuła (Photosensitive Poland).
I was responsible for writing film reviews, directing documentary films.
At the moment I'm finishing writing a book about the whole project.

Together with NGO organization I ran film workshops in English
for students from Central Europe. I was mainly responsible for teaching
script writing. I was also a tutor of one group and supervised their work on
a documentary film.

AWARDS
First award in the competition organized by the literary and culture monthly
„Znak” for writing a response to Zbigniew Herbert. My winning poem was
published in the October issue as well as on the home website of
„Znak”(www.miesiecznik.znak.com.pl/Tekst/pokaz/13619).
First award in a competition for a fairy tale with illustrations inspired by
Japanese culture organized by the Manggha Centre of Japanese Art and
Technology together with the literary portal for writers of fables,
(bajkopisarze.pl).

The Hospitality Club
For many years I have belonged to this club; it's aim is to host travellers at
your place and be hosted in the countries one travels to; I have hosted around
one hundred people from all around the world.
