Dear Colleagues, dear Friends,
On behalf of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University prof. Wojciech Nowak, the President of
the Committee of Therapy and Drug Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences Prof. Jan
Pachecka as well as the Organizing Committee we would like to cordially invite you to
participate in the upcoming 9th Polish-German Symposium on Pharmaceutical Sciences, which
will take place on 26-27th of May, 2017. The symposium is organised in collaboration with
Polish Pharmaceutical Society. It is really a great pleasure and honour to host this conference,
and standing in the tradition of Polish-German Symposia we are very happy to welcome you to
our University in our charming city and work closely together for developing our knowledge
in pharmaceutical sciences.
The conference will offer the opportunities to share own experience, scientific ideas and
develop networks between colleagues from both German and Polish partner universities. The
programme consists of plenary lectures in different areas of pharmaceutical sciences. We will
also give younger researchers an opportunity to present their research in short form. Welcome
party, closing dinner and coffee breaks are intended to be used for personal discussion.
We are very proud to organize this great event on “Towards novel concepts in pharmaceutical
sciences”. We hope, that with your active participation, the 9th Polish-German Symposium on

Looking forward to meeting you in Kraków.
With best regards,
