SZCZECIN is the capital and the biggest city of
Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship. It is situated on the banks
of the Odra River, Regalica and Dąbie Lake, 65 kilometers from
the Baltic Sea. Szczecin is an important harbour and its shipyard
is the fourth-largest in Europe. It is a big industrial, cultural and
scholarly centre as well as an important centre of the water transport .
