Faculty of Applied Informatics and Matematics Department of Econometrics and Statisctics Warsaw University of Life Sciences The Collegium of Economic Analysis Institute of Econometrics Warsaw School of Economics CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES The 11th International Conference on Quantitative Methods in Economics is an annual academic conference held by Department of Econometrics and Statistics (previously called Department of Econometrics and Computer Science), a unit within Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics at Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Furthermore, in 2010, for the first time, the conference will be held jointly by two universities: Warsaw University of Life Sciences – Department of Econometrics and Statistics, and Warsaw School of Economics – Institute of Econometrics. Conference will take place first at Warsaw School of Economics on 24th of July 2010 and subsequently at Warsaw University of Life Science on both 25th and 26th of July 2010. The main objective of the conference is to integrate Polish and international university environments that are related to applied mathematics and informatics into broadly defined economy. The evaluation will be based on paper summary that should not exceed one page (A4 format). Subsequently, the accepted full papers will be either presented during conference plenary or poster session. PAPER PUBLICATION The received papers, provided that properly edited and reviewed positively, will be published in “QUANTITATIVE METHODS IN ECONOMICS XI” . The journal “QUANTITATIVE METHODS IN ECONOMICS” is published by Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics at Warsaw University of Life Science and listed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education among the scientific journals which grant the author of a published text with 6 points.
