Międzyzdroje, with a population of 6,500, is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the Polish coast. It is
located on the island of Wolin, the largest island in Poland. The Municipality covers the town of Międzyzdroje
and three village areas of Wicko, Wapnica and Lubin. Woliński National Park is perfect for those looking for
peace and quiet. History lovers will find an early medieval settlement from the 10th and 11th centuries in
Lubin and a former V-3 artillery range in Zalesie. Międzyzdroje offers a wide range of cultural and sporting
events. The resort is open all year round.

Międzyzdroje ist einer der schönsten Orte an der polnischen Ostseeküste und hat ca. 6500 Einwohner. Er
liegt auf der größten Insel in Polen - Wollin. Im Gemeindegebiet befinden sich die Stadt Międzyzdroje und

PROMENADA GWIAZD - dzieło prof. Adama Myjaka związane z organizowanym od 1996r. Wakacyjnym Festiwalem Gwiazd. Jest to nietypowa aleja, na
której utrwalono w brązie 134 odcisków dłoni artystów i 4 pomniki, upamiętniające wielkie postacie kina i teatru.
THE PROMENADE OF STARS - was created by Professor Adam Myjak. It is an
unusual lane featuring 134 bronze handprints of artists and their autographs.
Along the promenade there are 4 monuments depicting great personalities of
the Polish cinema.

um eine ungewöhnliche Allee mit 134 Handabdrücken und Unterschriften von

PLANETARIUM - na 7 metrowej kopule wyświetlane są za pomocą cyfrowego
projektora trójwymiarowe obrazy pochodzące z kosmosu. Planetarium może
pomieścić 54 widzów.
PLANETARIUM - 33-dimesional images of the cosmos are displayed with
a digital projector on a 7-meter dome. The Planetarium has a capacity of 54.

Bilder aus dem Weltall mittels eines Digitalprojektors projiziert. Das Planetarium

rejestru zabytków, usytuowany przy nadmorskiej promenadzie na łagodnym
wzniesieniu przy Parku im. F.Chopina.
INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL CENTRE - a late 19th century building, listed
in the Register of Historic Monuments, situated at the seaside promenade on
a smooth hillside near Frederick Chopin Park.
INTERNATIONALES KULTURHAUS - ein Gebäude aus dem Ende des 19.
Jahrhunderts, eingetragen ins Denkmalregister, liegt an der Seepromenade auf
einem sanften Hügel am F. Chopin-Park.

OCEANARIUM - to niepowtarzalna okazja do przyjrzenia się podwodnemu
światu. Zwiedzający mogą na własne oczy zobaczyć egzotyczne ryby i inne
morskie organizmy, które zazwyczaj mamy okazję obejrzeć jedynie w telewizji.
THE OCEANARIUM - a one of a kind opportunity to take a closer look at
the underwater world. Visitors can see live exotic fish and other sea creatures,
which usually can be only seen on TV.
OZEANARIUM - bietet eine einmalige Möglichkeit, die Unterwasserwelt näher
zu bertachten. Die Besucher können mit eigenen Augen exotische Fische und
sonstige Meeresorganismen sehen, die wir sonst nur im Fernsehen beobachten

ZAGRODA POKAZOWA ŻUBRÓW - oddalona od miasta o 1,2 km, na terenie
Wolińskiego Parku Narodowego. Utworzona w 1976 r. jako obiekt turystyczno
– edukacyjny Parku. Obok żubrów znajdują się wybiegi dla innych zwierząt
leśnych. Można tu podziwiać piękne okazy bielika, jeleni, saren, dzików.
BISON SHOW ENCLOSURE - situated within 1.2 km distance from Międzyzdroje in Wolin National Park, the enclosure was created in 1976 as one
of the Park’s touristic and educational attractions. The enclosure offers an
opportunity to see exceptional specimens of white-tailed eagle , red and roe
deer and wild boar.
WISENTRESERVAT - 1,2 km von Międzyzdroje entfernt, im Gebiet des Nationalparks Wollin. Gegründet im Jahre 1976 zu Touristik- und Bildungszwecken.
Neben einem Wisentgehege gibt es hier auch Platz für andere Waldtiere. Zu
bewundern sind schöne Exemplare von Seeadlern, Hirschen, Rehen und Wildschweinen.

KOŚCIÓŁ PARAFIALNY p.w. Św. Piotra Apostoła - z 1862 r. Usytuowany na
Królewskim Wzgórzu, którego wieża dominuje nad krajobrazem miasta. Architektem był Stuler, a współautorem projektu i znaczącym sponsorem był król
pruski Fryderyk Wilhelm IV.
THE PARISH CHURCH of St. Peter the Apostle dating back to 1862 – situated
on the Royal Hill with a church tower dominating over the town panorama. The
church was designed by architect Friedrich August Stüler and had Prussian king
Friedrich Wilhelm as its co-designer and a major founder.
PFARRKIRCHE zum Hl. Apostel Petrus aus dem Jahre 1862 ist auf dem Königshügel gelegen, ihr Turm ragt über die Stadtlandschaft hinaus. Die Kirche
entstand nach einem Entwurf des Architekten Friedrich August Stüler und in
Zusammenarbeit mit dem preußischen König Friedrich Wilhelm IV., der sie zum
großen Teil stiftete.

KAPLICA STELLA MATUTINA z 1902r. z ryglową wieżyczką. Siedziba Sióstr
Boromeuszek, które pełnią swoja posługę w Międzyzdrojach nieprzerwanie od
ponad 100 lat. Do 1945 roku kaplica była jedyną świątynia katolicką na wyspie
Wolin. Kaplica znajduje się przy ul. Krótkiej w centrum miasta.
STELLA MATUTINA CHAPEL – dating back to 1902 and featuring a spandrel
beam tower, the chapel is the seat of the Borromean Sisters who have been
offering their services in Międzyzdroje continuously for over 100 years. Until
1945, the chapel was the only Catholic temple in Wolin Island. The chapel is
located at Krótka Street in centre of the town.
DIE KAPELLE STELLA MATUTINA aus dem Jahre 1902 mit einem Riegeltürmchen. Sitz der Barmherzigen Schwestern vom hl. Karl Borromäus, die ununterbrochen seit über 100 Jahren in Międzyzdroje ihren Dienst verrichten. Bis
1945 war die Kapelle das einzige katholische Gotteshaus auf der Insel Wollin.
Sie befindet sich in der Krótka-Straße im Stadtzentrum.

WZGÓRZA ST. KOZIEROWSKIEGO - punkt widokowy na panoramę Międzyzdrojów. Wzgórza okalają miasto od południowego wschodu. Nazwa ich upamiętnia polskiego uczonego, szczególnie zasłużonego dla Pomorza Zachodniego.
KOZIEROWSKI MEMORIAL HILLS - a beauty spot offering a panoramic view
of Międzyzdroje, as the hills surround the town from the Southeast. The hills
are named in commemoration of a Polish scientist and historian of outstanding
merit for Western Pomerania.
ST. KOZIEROWSKI-HÜGEL - bieten eine Aussicht auf das Panorama von Międzyzdroje. Die Hügel umgeben die Stadt von Südosten her. Ihr Name erinnert
an einen polnischen Gelehrten, der sich um Westpommern besonders verdient
gemacht hat.

KAWCZA GÓRA (61 m.n.p.m.) - punkt widokowy na Zatokę Pomorską
we wschodniej części miasta. Znajduje się tam starodrzew bukowo-sosnowy.
KAWCZA GÓRA (JACKDAW’S MOUNTAIN) - 61 m AMSL - a panorama
point offering a view of the Gulf of Pomerania in the eastern part of the town.
There is an old forest of beech and pine trees.
KAFFEE–BERG 61 m ü.d.M. - ein Aussichtspunkt über der Pommerschen
Bucht im östlichen Teil der Stadt mit alten Kiefern- und Buchenwäldern.

GOSAŃ (94 m.n.p.m) - najwyższe w Polsce wzniesienie klifowe. Dojazd drogą nr 102 w kierunku Kołobrzegu, ( ok. 4 km od centrum Międzyzdrojów).
Na miejsce dociera się przez malownicze wzgórza porośnięte stuletnimi bukami
i dębami. Z góry rozciąga się rozległy widok na wody Zatoki Pomorskiej, w dali
widać część niemieckiego wybrzeża wyspy Uznam.
GOSAŃ (94 m AMSL) - Poland’s highest cliff. Access via the road no. 102 in
the Kołobrzeg direction, (approx. 4 km away from Międzyzdroje city centre). The
road goes over a picturesque hill covered in hundred-year-old beech and oak
trees. The view from the top extends over the waters of the Gulf of Pomerania
as far as the German coast of the Usedom island.
GOSAŃ BERG (94 m ü.d.M.) - die höchste Erhebung der polnischen Küste. Zufahrt über die Straße Nr. 102 Richtung Kołobrzeg (ca. 4 km vom Stadtzentrum).
Die Besteigung des Berges erfolgt über malerische Hügel, die mit 100-jährigen
Buchen und Eichen bewachsen sind. Oben eröffnet sich ein prachtvoller Ausblick auf die Pommersche Bucht und auf die deutsche Insel Usedom.

leads through the mysterious world of ferns and many other interesting plants.
DROŻKOWE ŁĄKI (DRUSCH-WIESEN) - Es handelt sich um einen außergewöhnlichen Naturpfad, der die geheimnisvolle Welt der Farne und vieler anderer interessanter Pflanzen in sich birgt.

MORSKA STACJA BADAWCZA - dawny punkt obserwacyjny nabrzeża Straży
Granicznej. Na stacji prowadzone są badania morskiej strefy brzegowej jako
miejsca interakcji morza, lądu i atmosfery.
MARINE RESEARCH STATION – the former coast observation point of the
Border Patrol. The station conducts research of the marine coastal zone as
a place of interaction between the sea, the land and the atmosphere.
MEERESFORSCHUNGSSTATION - ehemaliger Beobachtungspunkt der Grenzpolizei an der Küste. In der Station wird die Küstenzone als eine Interaktionsstelle des Meeres, des Landes und der Atmosphäre untersucht.

JEZIORO TURKUSOWE - jezioro o turkusowym kolorze w Wapnicy. Pozostałość po dawnej kopalni kredy, która działała do lat 40 – tych.
TURQUOISE LAKE - a lake in turquoise colour in Wapnica. Remains of the old
chalk mine, operating till 40s.
TÜRKISSEE - ein türkisfarbener See in Wapnica. Er entstan¬d auf dem Gebiet
einer alten Kreidegrube, die bis in die 40er Jahre tätig in Betrieb war.

WZGÓRZE ZIELONKA - atrakcyjny punkt widokowy w Lubinie na Zalew Szczeciński, Deltę Wsteczną Świny oraz panoramę wyspy Uznam.
ZIELONKA HILL - a viewpoint over the Bay of Szczecin, reverse delta of the
Świna and panorama of the Uznam island.
ZIELONKA-HÜGEL - ein attraktiver Aussichtspunkt auf das Stettiner Haff, das
rückläufige Delta der Swine und das Panorama der Insel Usedom.

GRODZISKO ŚREDNIOWIECZNE - położone nad zalewowym klifem. Jest to
pozostałość po wczesnosłowiańskim grodzie Wolinian (IX-XII w), ekspozycja fragmentów ceramiki. Na wzgórzu przygotowano lunety obserwacyjne i tarasy widokowe, z których roztacza się widok na Zalew Szczeciński oraz Krainę 44 Wysp.
MIDDLE-AGE SETTLEMENT - situated by the cliff. Remains of a fortified middle-age settlement of Wolinianie tribe (IX-XII), exposition of fragments of pottery. On the hill there are prepared telescopes and sightseeing routes, from which
one can admire the Bay of Szczecin and the Land of 44 islands.
MITTELALTERLICHER BURGWALL - gelegen am Kliff des Stettiner Haffes. Es
geht hier um die Ruinen einer altslawischen Burg der Wolliner (9.–12. Jh.) und
eine Ausstellung zu Fragmenten der Töüferkunst. Auf dem Hügel befinden sich
Fernrohre und Aussichtsterrassen mit einem Blick auf das Stettiner Haff und das
Land der 44 Inseln.

STANOWISKO BRONI V-3 - jedyna w Polsce ekspozycja tajnej broni niemieckiej V3, z okresu II wojny światowej. Stanowisko położone jest przy ulicy Nadbrzeżnej, nad Jeziorem Wicko.
V-3 STRONGHOLD - the only Polish exhibition of V3 secret German weapons
from the World War II period. The exhibition is located at Nadbrzeżna Street
at Wicko Lake.
WAFFENSTAND V-3 - die einzige Ausstellung zur deutschen Geheimwaffe V3
aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg in Polen. Die Ausstellung liegt an der Nadbrzeżna
-Straße am Wicko-See.
ŚCIEŻKA PRZYRODNICZA – MIĘDZYZDROJSKIE POMNIKI PRZYRODY
ścieżka przyrodnicza, która obejmuje 20 drzew będących pomnikami przyrody:
buki, dęby, bukszpan, wiśnie ptasie i inne. Przy drzewach znajdują się tablice
informacyjne w 3 językach polskim, niemieckim i angielskim. Ścieżka jest w pełni
dostosowana dla osób niepełnosprawnych.
NATURE EDUCATION PATH – THE MIĘDZYZDROJE NATURAL MONUMENTS
The nature education path covering 20 most interesting trees listed as natural monuments: beeches, oaks, boxwoods, wild cherry trees and other. By the trees there
are information boards in three languages: Polish, English and German. The path is
accessible for the disabled.
NATURLEHRPFAD - NATURDENKMÄLER VON MIĘDZYZDROJE - Dieser Lehrpfad umfasst 20 Bäume, die den Status eines Naturdenkmals besitzen: Buchen,
Eichen, Buchsbäume, Vogel-Kirschen und andere. An den Bäumen befinden sich
Informationstafeln in drei Sprachen: Polnisch, Deutsch und Englisch. Der Pfad ist
völlig behindertengerecht.

International House of Culture
Od wielu lat Międzyzdroje pełnią funkcję „wakacyjnej
stolicy kultury i sztuki”, miasta festiwali, filmu i inspiracji artystycznych, odbywających się z udziałem artystów
ze świata kultury i sztuki. Imprezy organizowane są
w Międzynarodowym Domu Kultury, zabytkowym budynku z końca XIX w., który zdobią wspaniałe elewacje,
reprezentacyjne wejście i atrakcyjne wnętrza oraz nowy
obiekt amfiteatru.
Międzyzdroje has long been the country’s cultural and
artistic capital, a city of festivals, films and artistic inspiration. These events are held inside an historic late 19th
century building with a beautifully adorned facade, an
imposing entrance, and an impressive interior with a recently added amphitheatre, known as the International
House of Culture.

mieści się w zabytkowym budynku w sąsiedztwie Międzynarodowego Domu Kultury. Zakres działania biura obejmuje m.in. informację turystyczną, bilety wstępu na imprezy kulturalne i sportowe,
bilety na koncerty i przedstawienia. Informacja Turystyczna prowadzi także sprzedaż wydawnictw turystycznych.
Tourism Information
is housed in an historic building not far from the International House
of Culture. The Centre assists with tourist information and purchasing tickets to cultural and sporting events, concerts and exhibitions.
