We are pleased to announce that in 2016 the Sofitel
Warsaw Victoria hotel celebrates its great 40th anniversary.
Otwarta w 1976 roku, Victoria była pierwszym luksusowym
hotelem w powojennej Polsce i na przestrzeni lat stała się
miejscem kultowym, sławnym nie tylko w Warszawie,
ale w całym kraju. Położony w samym sercu stolicy, przy
historycznym placu Piłsudskiego i majestatycznym Ogrodzie

Opened in 1976, Victoria was the first luxury hotel in
postwar Poland and over the years it has become an iconic
venue recognized not only in Warsaw, but throughout the

prominent guests, including well-known politicians and
artists from all over the world. In 2001, the Victoria Hotel
joined the prestigious French Sofitel chain of Accor Group
and to this day it proudly serves as an ambassador of
French culture and elegance in Warsaw. In 2013 and 2014
the hotel received new interiors of Didier Gomez’s daringly
modern and elegant design.
