6th Visegrad Symposium on Structural Systems Biology
Konferencja organizowana przez Centrum Nowych Technologii odbyła się w dniach 19-21
czerwca 2016. Sympozjum zgromadziło naukowców zainteresowanych badaniem systemów
biomolekularnych.

5th International Workshop on Directionally Solidified Eutectic Ceramics. DSEC V
DSEC V odbył się w Warszawie w dniach 4 - 7 kwietnia 2016 r.
Workshop zorganizowany został przez Centrum Nowych Technologii (Laboratorium
Technologii Materiałowych), Instytut Technologii Materiałów Elektronicznych oraz Polskie
Towarzystwo Wzrostu Kryształów.

5th Visegrad Symposium on Structural Systems Biology
We would like to invite for the 5th Visegrad Symposium on Structural Systems Biology,
that will be held in Szeged, Hungary on June 17–20 2015. This year conference will be
organized by the University of Szeged.
Topics:
Computational simulations and spectroscopy of biologically relevant systems,
Applications of various computational methods (bioinformatics, MD simulations, QM
calulations) or spectroscopical/microscopical techniques in studies of complex
biological systems,
Development of new computational approaches or new spectroscopical/microscopical
techniques in biochemistry and biophysics.

2015 EMBO Young Scientists' Forum
2-3 July 2015, Warsaw
The EMBO Young Scientists Forum aims to gather young European researchers in order to
provide motivation and inspiration for students to pursue their education and career in the
life sciences. The meeting is a great opportunity for PhD students, postdocs and junior
investigators to interact with Europe's most promising young scientists, including members
of the EMBO Young Investigator Programme.

EMBO Workshop on computational Biology
The EMBO workshop on Computational Biology, co-organized by Joanna Sułkowska, PhD,
the head of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Biological Systems Modelling, will take
place in Goniądz on February 20-22, 2015. We expect 35 participants including 3
keynote speakers. The topics covered will be different areas of modern computational
approaches to current problems in molecular biology. In addtion to the three lectures,
there will be short talks given by young researchers on the ongoing projects in the
participating labs. There will be an award for the best short presentation.

4th Visegrad Symposium on Structural Systems Biology
W dniach 17-20 czerwca 2014 w Novych Hradach, Czechy, odbędzie się 4th Visegrad
Symposium on Structural Systems Biology. W tym roku konferencja będzie organizaowana
przez Institute of Nanobiology and Structural Biology, Global Change Research Centre,
Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
Współorganizatorem wydarzenia jest dr Joanna Sułkowska, z Interdyscyplinarnego
Laboratorium Modelowania Układów Biologicznych CeNT.

4th Annual User group Meeting of Bio-NMR
Zapraszamy do udziału w konferencji pt. 4th Annual User group Meeting of Bio-NMR [7],
która odbędzie się w dniach 5 – 8 maja 2014 r., przy ul Żwirki i Wigury 18, hotel Sound

organizowana przez Biphysical Society pt. Significance of Knotted Structures for Function
of Proteins and Nucleic Acids [8]. Konferencja zainteresuje zarówno teoretyków jak i
eksperymentalistółw z takich dziedzin nauki jak biofizyka, biologia czy matematyka.
