Initiated by an employee, shaped by employees
Launched in 2008
NOK 30 million has been earmarked for the programme this year
The programme is open to all permanent employees in DNV (ca. 9000)
DNV funds 2/3 of an individual’s project, up to NOK 10,000 before taxes, regardless
of geographic location
For the purposes of the programme, DNV has traditionally been divided into 7
regions. This year, the programme is organised by country

Bicycle to work
Use a bicycle to cycle to work instead of driving
Low emission car
Cut down on emissions by purchasing a car that emits
109g/km or less
Low energy appliances
Open to those who have not previously applied for this
project. Replace old appliances (see list) with energy
efficient ones.
Efficiency package for the home
Make your home more efficient with energy saving light
bulbs, timers, electricity monitors, etc.
Public transportation
Help cut down emissions by taking public transportation to
work instead of your car
High energy class windows and doors
Install high energy class windows and doors to keep heat
in (or out!)
Insulation
Use environmentally friendly insulation in your home to
save on energy costs
Green tags
Ensure your energy comes from renewable sources
Solar panels
Install solar panels for a renewable electricity and/or warm
water source in your home
