COMMUNITY
The Pomiechówek community provides its inhabitants with proper living, working and
development conditions, at the same time showing respect to the natural environment.
These conditions are based on a well-developed enterprise, especially in the tourism sectors,
effectively-working social services fulfilling the needs of the inhabitants (educational and
cultural as well as those connected with health and sport) and a well-developed communal
infrastructure.

The Pomiechówek community is located in the valley of the river Wkra in the northern part of
the Mazovian Voivodship. It is bordered by the following communities: Serock to the east,
Wieliszew to the south, Zakroczym to the west, Nasielsk to the north and Nowy Dwór
Mazowiecki to the southern-north.
The mayor of the Pomiechówek community, Dariusz Bielecki, explains how he is going to
support the investors’ enterprises.
The Pomiechówek community creates conditions for investors conducting business activity in
the sectors which are not harmful to the environment, i.e. in tourism, logistics, food
processing. Our first step will consist in decreasing the number of the barriers which we, as
the local government ,can influence. That will mean enabling the investors to gain an
immediate access to the information concerning the potential investment areas and preparing
them for investments.
The Pomiechówek community has good transport connections: the railway connection,
leading to Warsaw, to the coast and, through Nasielsk, in the western direction (railway line
E-65); the road connection, i.e. the national road No. 62, joining the Kujavia-Pomerania
Voivodeship with the Podlasie Voivodeship. Five kilometers away from the community there
is the national road E7 (Gdańsk, Mława, Płońsk, Warsaw, Cracow, ChyŜne) and the road No.
630 (Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Jabłonna). A 3-kilometre-stretch of the road No.621
(Legionowo-Dębe-Nasielsk) also runs through the area of the community (the Zapiecki
village).
The Municipal Council of Pomiechówek holds a title of a RELIABLE PARTNER and also
possesses a certificate of the Encyclopaedia Who’s Who in Poland and Europe, published
by Polska Narodowa Oficyna Wydawnicza (The Polish National Printing House).
The investment policy of Pomiechówek is mainly aimed at the tourist development of the
community, i.e. developing various higher-level recreation, sport, hotel and training facilities.
