ACCOMMODATION
The FIS Ski Jumping Grand Prix Almaty 2014 Organizing Committee takes care of the full
board accommodation for the athletes and officials according to FIS Quotas.
The bookings for national teams-participants of FIS Ski jumping Grand Prix are organized
by the LOC according to the sent entries.
For competitors and officials not included in the quota, the Organizing Committee provides
full board accommodation with price 100 CHF/night/person
All the bookings and accommodation request shall be sent directly to the LOC of Almaty –
[email protected] , by August 20th 2014

If there any NSA who has made its own accommodation arrangements is obliged to inform
the LOC about the fact not later than September, the 1st, 2014
The LOC does not guarantee the availability of accommodation for requests and
entries sent later than September, 1st, 2013.
However, if there are vacant rooms left at the LOC's disposal these will be provided to
teams on request.

ARRIVAL
ALMATY International Airport, 25 km from the Ski Jumping Hills and the hotels,
30 minutes' drive
TRANSFERS AND TRANSPORTATION
Airport pick-ups will be provided on team’s requests.
We kindly ask you to specify the date and the time of your departure so we can arrange
inform the hotel on the individual check-out times and provide you with a transfer.
Shuttle bus services for teams and officials will be provided between the Hotels and Ski
Jumping Hills / race- office free of charge during the official training and competition days.
SKI WAXING AND SERVICE AREA
Ski wax cabins will be located at the Ski Jumping Complex .
DOPING CONTROL
According to FIS Standards and Rules.
FIS LICENCE
To be eligible for participation in the FIS Ski Jumping Grand Prix all the jumpers must
have a valid FIS Code.
INSURANCE
All athletes need the insurance arranged by their National Ski Associations.
The Organizing Committee is not responsible for any injuries of the athletes neither for the
damage or lost property.
LANGUAGE
The official language is English.
PRESS CENTER
The main Press Center will be located at the International Complex of Ski Jumping Hills.

VISA INFORMATION – please find attached file with details of visa
issue procedure!
Note that there are different rules of visa obtaining for different countries. Please
read carefully the attached file “Visa Information”
In case your Ski Federation has not confirmed the team members before the
staid deadlines We strongly advice to send names and documents for all athletes
and officials who might be traveling to Almaty for the event as invitations are
issued for each individually.

For any request after AUGUST 20th , 2014 OC will not guarantee visa issuance.
!!! Be attentive, you need to check all the information in issued visa: issue date, expiry
date, passport number, personal information (date of birth, last name, first name,
citizenship) at the Consular office.
