Conference rationale: Almost every week new nanotechnology-based ideas, products and solutions
appear on the market. The aim of this event is to introduce industry to those new nanotechnologies
with the potential to make them competitive in a global market place.
Programme: Nanomaterials, nanomedicine, nanobiotech, graphene production and applications, nano
diamond and nanocarbon, tools for the production of nanomaterials, prospective research directions,
and advanced materials technology.
Schedule:
Wed 15 Oct: Sightseeing tour “Business opportunities and attractions in Swietokrzyskie region” –
numbers limited.
Thu 16 October: Nanomaterials, nano tools.
Fri 17 October: Nanomedicine, nanobiotech, nanocarbons, graphene and nanodiamonds.
Formula: Equal representation of business and academia. Invited lectures, short communications,
posters and exhibition. Coordination and synergy with InnoTech Fair,
Organisers: Institute of High Pressure Physics, PAS, Faculty of Materials Science, Warsaw University of
Technology, Świętokrzyskie Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer Ltd.. The event is
endorsed by the National Centre for Research and Development and the European Materials Research
Society E-MRS. Honorary patronage of prof. Jerzy Kątcki, DSc, Eng., President of the Board of National
Center for Research and Development is gratefully acknowledged.
Note: The 2014 conference is being held in Kielce to connect with Inno-Tech, the international
technology fair, ensuring an even closer connection with industry and investors.

materials achievements.
