PhD, President of the Board, USP LIFE SCIENCES
A master of management. He has huge experience as a Country Manager (gathered in
Slovenia, Morocco and Poland). He was responsible for developing the company
activities in the Baltic States and Slovenia. He coordinated projects dealing with
representative offices in the UK and Germany. He had started at MSD in France.
He is responsible for the market success of the US Pharmacia (APAP, Ibuprom, Gripex,
Vigor, etc.). The Director General and the President of the Board of the USP Group since
its very beginning in 1992. Since 2010 he has been the President of the USP Life Sciences
company, that deals with innovative biomedicine projects.

He started his professional career in 1993 as a medical representative at Solvay
Pharmaceuticals. Then, he proceeded to the company Central Office in Hannover,
among others, where he occupied the position of the Medical & Marketing Manager for
Eastern Europe and the Global Product Director. In 2006 he became the Area Director for
EU and later got promoted to become the Area Director of CIS Region.
Krzysztof Kozik
Director General, NOVO NORDISK PHARMA
He has huge experience in developing and implementing the company development
strategy. In the pharmaceutical industry since 1999, in Novo Nordisk. He was the
Financial Director in France and Belgium as of 2009 and then, in 2012 he became the
Director General at Novo Nordisk in Poland.
Michał Nitka
Director General, President of the Board, TEVA
PHARMACEUTICALS, the Supervisory Board Member, PZPPF
Working for the pharmaceutical industry for 17 years. He has occupied key positions in
leading pharmaceutical companies of both the innovative and generic sector. In 2010 he
was awarded the honorary title of the “Managing LEADER” by Gazeta Farmaceutyczna
monthly magazine.
Izabela Zimmermann
Director General and Vice-President of the Board, ACTAVIS
The Director General and the Vice-President of the Board of Actavis Polska since 2010 - the
company is the fourth biggest corporation producing generic drugs in the world. For several
years has she been working for the pharmaceutical industry in Poland. She has occupied key
managerial positions in marketing management and the sales of generic drugs.
Bartosz Bednarz
resident of the Board, ASTRAZENECA PHARMA
His professional career started in 1996 in Novartis Poland, where he was responsible for
marketing and sales. Then, he moved to Novartis Pharma AG, Novartis in Canada and
Novartis in Spain. He returned to Poland as the Marketing Director and started working
as the Director General of Novartis Onkologia in September 2008.
Jerzy Wasilewski
President of the Board, Director General, WALMARK
He has been in the sales management, trade marketing, category management and
FMCG products marketing businesses for 16 years. In August 2010 he joined the
pharmaceutical industry to become the President of the Board of the second biggest
company in the market of dietary supplements and the OTC products. For the last few
years he has been involved in the development and then the successful implementation
of company strategies.
Paweł Sztwiertnia
Director General of the Employers’ Union of Innovative
Pharmaceutical Companies, INFARMA
I am an expert in the arrangement and the funding of healthcare and a specialist in the
public health matters. He used to be a deputy health minister and the deputy Director of
the Budget Zone Financing Department at the Ministry of Finance. He used to be a
member of the Board of the National Health Fund (NFZ).
Łukasz Kaczmarek
Assistant Professor, Director, THE PHARMACEUTICAL
INSTITUTE
Heading 12 research projects funded by the State Committee for Scientific Research
(KBN) of the Technological Initiative, originating in the Operational Programme –
Innovative Economy, the National Centre for Research and Development ( NCBiR), the
Servier company and the Foundation for Polish Science. He is the author or the coauthor of 16 technological publications, including 12 implementations of generic
substances technologies, as well as over 110 scientific publications and over 50 patents
or patent applications.
Andrzej Ryszard Stachnik

PHARMACEUTICAL WHOLESALERS EMPLOYERS
Working for the Polish pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. He was one of the
founders of the ACP Pharma Capital Group. At present he occupies the post of the Board
Member and the Sales Director and has been responsible for the sales policy of the
SymPhar pharmaceutical company. He has been engaged in the local government
activities for the whole pharmaceutical society.
Bartłomiej Sołowiej
Chief Operations Officer, PEP®-IBT POLAND
In the international pharmaceutical business for 17 years. Responsible for managing
large teams of people. As the Business Unit Manager he has managed the preparatory
stage and the very introduction of highly specialised medicinal products to the market.
At present he has been involved in providing unique solutions to improve work and
everyday actions efficiency.
Marta Wielondek
Country Manager, BAUSCH+LOMB
She has been managing a sector organisation that gathers over 100 business entities,
active in the pharmaceutical industry for 18 uninterrupted years. The organisation
gathers producers, distributors and importers of medicinal products. She is the owner of
DAGOMED Pharma , producing homeopathic drugs and the SARAMED pharmaceutical
wholesale outlet.

Director of Regulatory and Medical Affairs, USP ZDROWIE
She specialises in all the matters relating to the research, development and the
registration of medical products and medical information. She is experienced in the OTC
drugs, dietary supplements and medicinal products, introducing them, labelling and
advertising.
Michał Nedoszytko
Founder, PORTAL BARTOSZMOWI.PL
He introduced the “bartoszmowi.pl” web browser for reimbursed drugs at the beginning
of 2012. Every third doctor in Poland now uses this internet tool and its popularity spread
at a skyrocketing pace during the first days of its functioning only, as if it was a computer
virus. He is a cardiologist at the Interventional Cardiologic Unit of the hospital in
Wejherowo.

He has over 20-year professional experience. At the beginning he worked for distribution
companies of the ORFE Group, where the ACP Pharma was created. Then, he worked for
IMS Health and occupied the position of the Sales Director, he was the acting Director
General and then – while still being the Sales Director – he became responsible for 19
countries of the Central and Eastern European region. He was also the President of the
Board of Enovatis.
Aldona Zygmunt
Director of External Affairs, ASTRAZENECA PHARMA
She was responsible for preparing and conducting the negotiation process for the
reimbursed drugs by AZ covered by the Reimbursement Act of 2011. She has been in the
pharmaceutical business since 1993, since 2010 in AstraZeneca, with huge experience in
projects aiming at the development of a communication platform, to be used by public
administration institutions and non-government organisations.

An expert of the pharmaceutical market in Poland and the Vice-President of the Polish
Centre of Medical Statistics. He got his professional experience in IMS Health (Regional
Manager Central Europe, Country Manager Poland). He is the author of many articles
relating to the healthcare matters.
Dariusz Nowicki
Director, The Polish Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industry of
Pharmaceutical Products POLFARMED
In the pharmaceutical industry and the drug market for over 17 years. He got his
experience in various pharmaceutical companies, the National Association of Sickness
Funds and the Polish Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industry and Pharmaceutical Products
Polfarmed.

He is a doctor by education and a businessman by vocation, for many years has been
professionally and emotionally attached to the pharmaceutical sector. He has been
dealing with the pharmaceutical market research and the strategic and tactic consulting

She is a coach certified by the International Coaching Community (ICC) and the Erickson
College International.
Szymon Komorowski
Manager of the Consulting Team, IMS HEALTH
In over 40 consulting projects which relate to, among others: restructuring of the sales
function and determining the structure and the size of medical teams. He joined the IMS
in 2010. He used to work in the strategic consulting team in Deloitte.
