SPECIAL CAMERIMAGE SCREENING OF "11 MINUTES" WITH JERZY SKOLIMOWSKI IN PARTICIPATION Added: 20.11.2015 Tonight at 8.45 PM in the Opera Nova's Main Screening Room director Jerzy Skolimowski, cinematographer Mikołaj Łebkowski and actor Wojciech Mecwaldowski are presenting 11 Minutes. The film is co-produced by Tumult Foundation and Marek Żydowicz, organizers of Camerimage Festival, and is Polish candidate to Oscar® 2016. There will be a conference with the filmmakers after the screening. 11 Minutes It seems that the world has never seen a film which would last for 82 minutes and have a timeframe of 11 minutes. At least not until Jerzy Skolimowski created his latest work, which received a thundering ovation and was awarded with the Special Prize of the Youth Jury at the Venice Film Festival, and received the Special Jury Award for the originality of the artistic concept, the award for the best editing (for Agnieszka Glińska), and the award for the best score (for Paweł Mykietyn) at the Gdynia Film Festival. Between 5 and 5:11 p.m., in one of the central spots in Warsaw, a mosaic composed of the fates of several people is created. It is more than just a stylistic exercise—it is a metaphor for contemporary life, which is extremely hectic, particularly in big cities, and often shaped by coincidence. The paths of the protagonists cross in an extraordinary climax. The originality of the artistic concept of the film is enhanced by the images shot by Mikołaj Łebkowski.
