I. READING
Debbie is a schoolgirl. She is eleven years old. She
lives in a small village in the north of England. She lives
with her parents and two twin brothers in a small house
with a nice garden. On a weekdays Debbie gets up at
seven o'clock. She leaves home at a quarter to eight and
rides her bike to school. Her school is in the nearby town. It
takes her half an hour to get there. Every day she has
seven lessons. After school she plays with her friends for a
while and comes back home late in the afternoon. At home
she has dinner and does her homework. Then she helps
her parents to look after her little brothers. In the evening
Debbie watches her favourite cartoons on TV and
sometimes reads a book. She is usually very tired and
goes to bed early, at about half past eight.
