School News
On Monday, June 4, 2007, the 8th grade students of St. Mary of
Czestochowa School will graduate at the 7PM Mass. Everyone is
invited. We wish our graduates much success as they begin their
high school adventures!
On Tuesday, June 5th the children in Grades 1
through Gr. 7 will attend the 8am Mass. They
will receive their report cards and awards as well
as all of the information their parents will need
for the new school year in the Fall. The students
will be dismissed from the church around
10am.The 2006-07 school year will officially close on Tuesday,
June 5th.
We wish all of our students a very save and happy summer vacation!
The Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ
The feast of Corpus Christi occurs 60 days after
Easter. Next Sunday, June 10th, to celebrate this
holy day, there will be a trilingual Mass at 12:30
P.M. in our church. After the Mass there will be a
solemn procession honoring the Blessed Sacra-
ment. .
As we place ourselves along the streets for the Corpus Christi procession, and as often as we participate in the celebration the Holy Eucharist,
we become witnesses of how much Jesus loves us. “Let the Eucharist
help us to work together as a people so that in every home, town and city
all may live in a culture of peace, unity and renewal.” (Pope Benedict XVI)
Everyone is invited to participate in the Mass and procession on this most
solemn feast.

Dear Parishioners and friends,
The celebration of our parish feast day - Our Lady of
Czestochowa - will take place on Sunday, August 26,
2007. The icon of our Lady of Czestochowa will be carried in in procession after the 12:30 P.M. Mass.
As part of our parish celebration we are once again
preparing to hold our parish SUMMER FEST on the grounds located at
34th and Laramie beginning on Thursday, August 23rd through Sunday,
August 26th. Our town leaders have again granted us permission to use
this property. We are most grateful for their cooperation.
On the final day of the Summer Fest we will have the drawing for our
summer raffle. On the tables in the back of the church, you will find your
envelope containing the raffle book of ten (10) tickets and a flyer with an
explanation of the details of the raffle . They are arranged alphabetically
and we kindly ask your cooperation to pick up your envelope - you will
help your parish to save $800 in mailing costs!
It is most important and it will be much appreciated, if every parishioner, as well as friends of our parish, will make a sincere effort to sell or
purchase the entire raffle book for $100 at $10 per ticket. As of today
(June 3rd) you have 85 days in which to sell all 10 tickets! We cannot
express enough how much we need “extra funds” to help with the upkeep of our parish. We really are counting on everyone’s cooperation to
make our PARISH FEAST DAY RAFFLE and the SUMMER FEST very
successful!
If you would like to participate in the “EARLY BIRD DRAWING,” on
Sunday, July 29th you must return the sold raffle book with your payment of $100 by this date. Don’t forget to return the cover of the book
with your name. All covers of sold raffle books will be entered into the
“Early Bird Drawing.” We will have three drawings for $100 each. The
drawings will take place after the 9:00am, 10:30am and 12:30pm
Masses in the church.
The drawing for the cash prizes of $3,000, $1,000, $500 and other
$100 prizes will take place at 8pm at the SUMMER FEST on Sunday,
August 26th.
Through the intercession of Our Lady of Czestochowa, may you receive many blessings as you prepare to celebrate our Parish Feast Day.

GOOD NEWS!
The Archdiocese of Chicago announced today that, for the first
time in 45 years, all 217 Catholic elementary schools in Cook and
Lake counties will remain open for the 2007-2008 school year,
with no closings or consolidations.
“Our Catholic schools are the best means that we have to pass
on our faith,” remarked Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I.,
Archbishop of Chicago. “For the good of our Church and society,
our Catholic school system will continue to provide our children
with opportunities for educational excellence, not only today, but
in the future.”
To meet the total projected school financial deficit of $10.2 million
for the 2007-2008 school year, the Archdiocese will provide $8.2
million in operating grants to schools, including $2 million for
emergency reserves. (Our school will receive a grant too!)

John 16:12-15
In the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the Holy
Spirit.
Every time we make the Sign
of the Cross, we acknowledge
the central mystery of the Christian faith: that our God is
not one but three—three divine persons in one God. It is
the one statement that separates us from all of the other
religions in the world, and it is the foundation for everything else that we profess and believe as Catholics.
But the teaching of the Trinity really explains
much ;more than mere metaphysical propositions. It tells
us about the inner life of God—the intimate love and communion that is constantly flowing between the Father, Son
and Spirit. God is far from an isolated being or uninvolved
deity. His very existence has to do with relationships.
If it is God’s nature to share himself, and if we are created in his image, it follows that we too are meant to
share our lives with each other. As Paul reminds us, we
are the body of Christ, and a body “is not a single part,
but many” We were built to be in communion with one
another, joining together to build the kingdom and to proclaim the gospel to all of creation. It’s a tall order, and
anyone who has tried to do it alone knows that it just
doesn’t work!
But the Trinity is more than just a model for togetherness: It also gives us the power to live it! We really can
love another as fully as Jesus loves us—if we draw from
the love of God that has been poured into our hearts by
the Holy Spirit. Jesus promises that as we deepen our
relationship with one another, our lives will start to reflect
the very life of the Trinity—and that’s how we can experience the joy we are meant to know as Christians!
“Holy Spirit, draw us all into the love that you share with
the father and the Son! Stir up your gifts within us, so
that we may pour out that same love on one another!”

Invitamos a participar en la Adoración del
Santísimo Sacramento. Cada Miércoles
tenemos la Adoración todo el día. Por eso
les invitamos a encontrar el tiempo para

La Educación Católica
El registro para el nuevo año escolar se levara a cabo el
día 14 de agosto, 1 de septiembre y 8 de septiembre. La
información sobre las formas del programa y de registro
de la educación religiosa también estará disponible en la
rectoría. Animamos a todos los padres que continúen trayendo a sus niños a las Misas durante el verano.

La Santísima Trinidad
En este domingo, que sigue a Pentecostés, celebramos la solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad. Gracias
al Espíritu Santo, que ayuda a comprender las palabras de Jesús y guía a la verdad completa (cf. Jn 14,
26; 16, 13), los creyentes pueden conocer, por decirlo así, la intimidad de Dios mismo, descubriendo que
él no es soledad infinita, sino comunión de luz y de
amor, vida dada y recibida en un diálogo eterno entre
el Padre y el Hijo en el Espíritu Santo, como dice san
Agustín, Amante, Amado y Amor.
En este mundo nadie puede ver a Dios, pero él mismo se dio a conocer de modo que, con el apóstol san Juan, podemos afirmar: "Dios es
amor" (1 Jn 4, 8. 16), "hemos conocido el amor que Dios nos tiene, y
hemos creído en él" (Deus caritas est, 1; cf. 1 Jn 4, 16). Quien se encuentra con Cristo y entra en una relación de amistad con él, acoge en
su alma la misma comunión trinitaria, según la promesa de Jesús a los
discípulos: "Si alguno me ama, guardará mi Palabra, y mi Padre lo
amará, y vendremos a él, y haremos morada en él" (Jn 14, 23).
Todo el universo, para quien tiene fe, habla de Dios uno y trino. Desde
los espacios interestelares hasta las partículas microscópicas, todo lo
que existe remite a un Ser que se comunica en la multiplicidad y variedad de los elementos, como en una inmensa sinfonía. Todos los seres
están ordenados según un dinamismo armonioso, que analógicamente
podemos llamar "amor". Pero sólo en la persona humana, libre y racional, este dinamismo llega a ser espiritual, llega a ser amor responsable, como respuesta a Dios y al prójimo en una entrega sincera de sí.
En este amor, el ser humano encuentra su verdad y su felicidad. Entre
las diversas analogías del misterio inefable de Dios uno y trino que los
creyentes pueden vislumbrar, quisiera citar la de la familia, la cual está
llamada a ser una comunidad de amor y de vida, en la que la diversidad debe contribuir a formar una "parábola de comunión".
Obra maestra de la santísima Trinidad, entre todas las criaturas, es la
Virgen María: en su corazón humilde y lleno de fe Dios se preparó una
morada digna para realizar el misterio de la salvación. El Amor divino
encontró en ella una correspondencia perfecta, y en su seno el Hijo
unigénito se hizo hombre. Con confianza filial dirijámonos a María,
para que, con su ayuda, progresemos en el amor y hagamos de nuestra vida un canto de alabanza al Padre por el Hijo en el Espíritu Santo.

Próximo domingo, 10 de junio, vamos a celebrar la fiesta
de “Corpus Cristi”, por eso invitamos a todos nuestros
feligreses a la trilingüe Misa a horas 12:30 PM con la procesión alrededor de nuestro bloque a los cuatro altares.

Rifa que se va a rifar el día 26 de
Agosto. El premio principal es de
$3000. El costo de un ticket es de $10.
Por favor colaboren y compren la rifa
para ayudar a nuestra parroquia. El ticket se puede adquirir a la salida de la
iglesia o en la oficina parroquial. Las
personas registradas en nuestra parroquia pueden recoger
el sobre que contiene los boletos de la rifa y la carta en la
salida de la iglesia. Los sobres son expuestos en la mesa
y ordenados alfabéticamente (según los nombres).

W związku z Karnawałem i patronalnym świętem Naszej Parafii, zachęcamy do nabywania
losów Loterii Parafialnej. Każdy, kto nabywa takie Losy, ma
możliwość wygrania, ale przede
wszystkim wspiera naszą Parafię. Losy Loterii można nabywać
u Pana Andrzeja, wychodząc z
Kościoła. Cały bloczek - 10 Losów kosztuje $100.-; 1 Los - $10.-. Osoby, które są
zapisane w naszej parafii prosimy o zabranie koperty,
w której się znajdują losy wraz z listem. Koperty te
zostały wystawione w tyle kościoła i są ułożone alfabetycznie (według nazwisk). Zabranie tych kopert pozwoli na zaoszczędzeniu kosztów całej loterii. Bóg
zapłać.
KARNAWAŁ PARAFIALNY
Po raz drugi chcemy zorganizować karnawał parafialny. W związku z tym zwracamy się z gorącą
prośbą do wszystkich parafian o pomoc. Aby karnawał mógł się odbyć potrzebne jest zaangażowanie wielu osób. Chętnych prosimy o wypełnienie
poniższej formy i wrzucenie jej na niedzielną kolektę lub skontaktowanie się z biurem parafialnym.

Trójca Święta
Wiara w jednego Boga w trzech Osobach jest jednym z najbardziej specyficznych elementów chrześcijaństwa.
Żadna inna religia tej tajemnicy nie
podaje do wierzenia. Istnienie Trójcy
Świętej jest dogmatem naszej wiary.
Samym ludzkim rozumem nie doszlibyśmy do tej prawdy. Objawił nam to
Jezus Chrystus. Jest wiele miejsc, na
których Pan Jezus mówi o swoim Ojcu jako odrębnej
Osobie-Bogu. Można przytoczyć kilkadziesiąt miejsc w
Ewangeliach, gdzie jest mowa o Duchu Świętym jako
równym Ojcu i Synowi i jako o odrębnej od nich Osobie. Gdy archanioł zwiastuje Maryi, że zostanie Matką,
Ewangelista wyraźnie zaznacza, że to Bóg go posłał,
aby Jej zwiastować, iż porodzi Syna Bożego - i że stanie się to za sprawą Ducha Świętego (Łk 1, 30-35).
Prawda o tajemnicy Trójcy Przenajświętszej jest dla nas
o tyle istotna, że przedstawia Pana Boga, jakim jest sam
w sobie. Pan Bóg jest jeden w swojej naturze, ale w
trzech osobach. Osoby Boskie różnią się między sobą
rzeczywiście tak, że jedna osoba nie jest osobą drugą.
Nie różnią się jednak naturą ani też przymiotami, ani
też działaniem, które jest wspólne. Mają wspólną naturę

Pierwszą osobę wyróżnia ojcostwo, drugą osobę - synostwo, a trzecią - pochodzenie od Ojca i Syna. Tyle zdołała określić teologia katolicka na podstawie tekstów
