We are searching for the best candidates for the position of:
GE Healthcare IT Internships
(1 year program – paid internship)

The IT Internship offers students placement opportunities for up to 12 months in GE Healthcare. The IT internship
consists of an intensive combination of on the job training in various technologies and opportunities for exposure
across multiple information technology concepts, finance, leadership, and business skills.
Assignment Opportunities:
IT Interns are assigned challenging projects with real business impact - during your time as an IT Intern you'll be
making a real difference to GE, undertaking projects in the following areas:

Application development

Systems management

Business process re-engineering

Infrastructure management

Customer support

Project management
The assignments are designed to expose you to a wide range of technologies used across GE, our Lean Six Sigma
and Fastworks methodologies used to solve complex business problems, ensuring you are always developing skills. IT
Interns have significant exposure to key IT and business leaders at GE.
A successful IT internship with GE Healthcare can lead to full time opportunities such as:
GE's Information Technology Leadership Program (ITLP). ITLP is a two year world-class leadership development
program, designed to attract high potential candidates with a passion and aptitude for technology and to further
develop their technical, leadership and business skills as they transition from academia to the working world.

and internal customers.
Candidate Criteria





Applicants should be in their third or fourth year of University, looking to undertake a work placement up to
12 months long.
Proven academic excellence throughout their educational career, showing evidence of being on-track for a
degree in a quantitative discipline: Computer Science/ Physics / Management Information Systems/
Mathematics /Engineering preferred.
Business degree with IT related experience may be applicable.
Showing passion and aptitude for technology is essential.
Exposure to working in teams understanding the lifecycle and management of IT projects, demonstrating
strong communication and leadership skills, along with solid analytical abilities and sharp business acumen is
also desirable.
