Volkswagen Poznań has joined the Union of Employers of Automotive
and Industrial Articles, an industry association and member of the Polish
Confederation Lewiatan.
Volkswagen Poznań manufactures commercial vehicles and autmotive components. For over a
decade now, it has produced VW Caddy and VW Transporter models, exported to markets all over
the world.
Production is carried out in three locations:

Poznań–Antoninek, where body shop, paint shop and assembly room are located

in the Poznań district of Wilda, where casting is done

in Swarzędz near Poznań, where sub-assemblies for welding are manufactured and cockpits
mounted. This is also the site of the Special Vehicle Body Plant, Logistics Centre and Suppliers
Park.
This autumn the fourth Volkswagen Poznań plant will be launched in Września to manufacture the
new generation of the VW Crafter model.
The Volkswagen Poznań Commercial Vehicle Plant has been a part of the Wielkopolska region
landscape for over 20 years. It leads the way in the region as its largest and employee-friendly
employer. Once the new plant in Września is launched, the total employee headcount will rise to
nearly 10 000.
The President of Volkswagen Poznań is Jens Ocksen, who is also member of the management of
