PERSONAL PROFILE Researcher and digital producer. Chief editor of "Techsty" – journal on e-literature. For his work on poetics of hypertext nominated for Theodor Nelson by ACM (Hypertext 2011 in Eindhoven). Has been creative director for e-literature in Korporacja Ha!art from Cracow. Author of Xanadu. Hypertextual metamorphosis of prose (Kraków, 2013), editor of Michael Joyce: a Polish writer (2011) – a chapbook, and Literary hypertexts. Literature and the New Media (with Piotr Marecki). Holds a PhD degree on hypertext theory and poetics from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. In 2012 his PhD received an award from the National Centre for Culture (Warsaw). Cooperating with the Electronic Literature Organization, member of ACM. Papers (in Polish, English and Slovakian) were presented in peer reviewed academic publications (“Cybertext Yearbook”, “ACM Hypertext”, “Slavia Occidentalis”, “Przegląd Humanistyczny”. Talks and presentations were given at Slovak Academy of Science, University Paris 8, Kingston University London, University of Bergen, University of Jyväskylä, Technical University Eindhoven, Foksal Gallery in Warsaw, Bunkier Gallery in Cracow. His translations of digital literature works include Hypertextual Counsciosness by Mark Amerika, L0ve0ne by Judy Malloy Hegirascope by Stuart Moulthrop , Sea and Spar Between by Stephanie Strickland and Nick Montfort and a collaborative opus magnum: afternoon, a story by Michael Joyce. OCCUPATION AND RESEARCH 2012– CURRENT: Research Associate: Semiotics of literature. Research grant funded by National Centre for Culture and coordinated by Intersemiotic and Interdiscipilinary Lab, University of Warsaw. Tasks: research in semiotics of digital storytelling, cyberpoetry and hypertext [grant nr: 2011 NN 103 398340]. 2011– CURRENT: Research Associate: Sociology of literature in Poland (1989-2010) according to Pierre Bourdieu: I’m co- researcher in a 3 – year independent research project funded by the National Centre for Science and coordinated by Korporacja Ha!art in Cracow. Tasks: writing an academic text book, preparing a reader, and several satellite publications from the field [grant nr. 2011/01/D/HS2/05129]. 2010– CURRENT: Digital producer, Ha!art publishing house, Cracow.
