“Water resources - protection, management, environmental technologies.”

Conference Participants
We invite all young researchers, doctoral students, employees of think tanks and monitoring
engineers and designers, environmental organizations, businessmen, students and all persons
interested in the state of water quality, water resources, their conservation, and also all who work on
development and testing of modern technologies close to nature in the field of water and wastewater
management, water management and flood protection.
The goals and objectives of the conference
The main goal of the conference is to share experiences and knowledge between experts
from many countries and also presentation of innovative applications of technology and research.
We invite papers dealing with the following issues:

Today aspects of water quality;

Action in favor protect water resources;

Integrated water resources management;

Legal and economic instruments of water protection;

Ability to implement innovative technologies for water supply and sewage disposal, land
improvement, flood protection;

Procedure for environmental impact assessment - water hydraulic engineering, sewerage, land
improvement - exchange of experience;

Challenges and best practices for the conservation and management of water, including the
involvement of the local community.

The conference fee is PLN 350 (about 90 EUR)/ person - includes conference materials, coffee
breaks and lunches. Account and the maturity date will be announced in the Second Circular.
Travel and accommodation costs should be independently covered by the participants.

In addition, there is a possibility to take part in the tour bus to Sandomierz on 11/09/2013. The cost
PLN 60 (about 15 EUR), includes - bus travel, travel insurance, tour guide. The route includes: Old
Town, Opatowska Gate, Cathedral, City Hall and the underground route.
Sandomierz is one of oldest and historically most important cities in Poland.

8.15-9.00 - Registration and coffee;
9.00-opening of the conference, welcoming visitors;
9.10-11.00 - debate / discussion;
11.00-11.15 - coffee break;
11.15-13.30 - debate / discussion;
13.30-14.30 – Lunch;
14.45 - 17.00 - session / part of the poster;
18.00 - for those who want to go together to the restaurant "Biesiada"

8.00-12.00 for those who want to go on a tour to Sandomierz
12.00 - Lunch
13.00 - 16.00 - debate / discussion (coffee bar)
16:00 - 16.20 - summary of the conference, guests farewell.
