INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS IS’14 Warsaw, Poland September 24-26, 2014 http://www.ibspan.waw.pl/ieee-is2014/ MPD sponsored Track on Intelligent Computing [email protected] Organisers Piotr A. Kowalski, Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland ([email protected]) Szymon Łukasik, Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland ([email protected]) Scope: Intelligent Computing (IC) facilitates solving difficult problems found in various fields of science, and engineering through a use of nature-inspired computational methodologies. This area, as multidisciplinary and quickly-evolving one, is frequently explored by early-stage researchers, working on broad range of techniques. International PhD Projects in Intelligent Computing project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme Innovative Economy operated by Foundation for Polish Science (FNP). The project, carried out by the consortium of 3 Polish and 16 research institutions from all around the world, provides PhD students with a unique opportunity to conduct research in the most innovative fields of science under the supervision of leading scientists. MPD sponsored Track on Intelligent Computing will comprise a session devoted to presentation of the results obtained within the project but also invites the submission of papers on all aspects of IC including, but not limited, to: - Intelligent Systems - Big Data - Natural Language Processing - Computing with Words - Data Mining and Data Analytics - Information and Data Processing - Evolutionary Computations - Model Checking - Cloud Computing - Cellular Automata - Fuzzy Statistics - Multi-Agent Systems - E-Business Processes Modelling - Intelligent Decision Support with both theory and practical applications being within its scope. Papers should follow Intelligent System IS’14 guidelines and be submitted by March 31, 2014 through e-mail directly to the organisers of the session ([email protected]).
