Call for Papers st 1 European Teletraffic Seminar Poznao, Poland 14-16.02.2011 http://ets2011.et.put.poznan.pl st The 1 European Teletraffic Seminar (ETS) will be held at the Poznao University of Technology, Poland. The ETS comes into being as an extension of the Polish German Teletraffic Symposium which was initiated in 2000, and the Nordic Teletraffic Seminar which was initiated in 1977, with kind support of French Teletraffic Community. European Teletraffic Seminar is going to be a series of international seminars providing a forum for discussions between researchers, practitioners, young scientist, and students interested in teletraffic – a discipline covering phenomena in control and transport of information st within communication and computer networks. Topics of the 1 ETS cover the subjects related to teletraffic issues in next generation and new generation networks, e.g. Future Internet; architectures, technology, and operation of modern telecommunication and computer networks; broadband and mobile communication systems; integration of a broad spectrum of services; computer and communication systems applications; methods and tools for networks and services modeling; networks and services planning; forecasting and management; performance evaluation; network security, etc. Submitted papers (extended abstracts) will undergo three independent reviews, and accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings. Original papers are invited on such topics as (but not limited): Teletraffic Models and Traffic Theory Traffic Control and QoS Network and System Architectures Mobile Networks Network Design and Planning Traffic and Network Management Protocol Performance Computer Systems and Networks Quantitative Measures Performance Measurements Switching Networks Network Security Important dates: Extended abstracts due: 26.11. 2010 Notification of acceptance: 22.12.2010 Final camera-ready manuscript due: 15.01. 2011 Tutorial submission: 01.12.2010 Instructions for Authors: High-quality original papers are solicited. Papers must be unpublished and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere. All papers will be reviewed by Technical Program Committee members to ensure high quality and relevance to the conference. Authors of accepted papers must attend the conference to present their contributions. The papers, prepared according to the template provided on the web page, should be no longer than 10 pages (5 pages is recommended). Papers must be submitted electronically through the conference webpage (http://ets2011.et.put.poznan.pl).
