Abstract: The calculations of the electrical energy losses in the distributive power network give, in spite of results concerning
the losses themselves, also the information about the power network state and about the energy sale conditions. As the general
calculations of the electrical energy losses are based on the power network treated as the set of elements, so they have to concern
at least the energy distribution districts called below Energetistic Regions (smaller regions should not be analyzed).
The analysis concerns a few Energetistic Regions and it begins from comparisons in the field of a) technical losses in the medium
voltage power network, b) technical losses in the low voltage power network, c) unit commercial losses. Subsequently, it answers
the following questions: a) whether the actual state is justifiable by some reasons, b) what has caused the existing state?
Analyzing the commercial losses of energy, the values of the unit energy consumption per consumer have been verified: a)
according to the sold energy, b) according to the sold energy increased by its commercial losses.
Questions of the technical losses of energy require a wider discuss; the excessive losses may result from the following
phenomena occurring in particular districts: natural difference of the superficial loads, too low network investments, some faults
in power network operation etc..

Title: THE ECONOMICAL CRISIS INFLUENCE ON THE BALANCE LOSSES FORECAST
Source: RYNEK ENERGII, (1): 76-79 FEB 2010
Abstract: The paper presents the economical crisis influence on the balance losses forecast. The realized analysis has concerned
the selected Distribiution Company, for which the following quantities have been determined: input electric energy, sold electric
energy, and balance losses (of electric energy) in the years 2004-2009. There has been applied an explicating scheme of
phenomena influencing on the balance difference variablity in time. The balance losses forecast has been presented in two
variants: 1) economical crisis terminates itself in the year 2009, 2) economical crisis terminates itself in the half of 2010.

Abstract: The analysis of the electric energy distribution, aiming to the improvement of its efficiency, must take into
consideration all the factors that really affect the efficiency value. The efficiency should be calculated for the particular sets of
the power network elements and, in consequence, compared to its optimal value. The following efficiencies can be optimized: 1)
efficiency in sets of the medium voltage power lines, including the MV/L V transformers, 2) efficiency in sets of the medium
voltage power lines.
The analysis of the distributive power network, presented in the paper, has been based on the comparison of the optimal
efficiencies with the real ones.

Source: PRZEGLAD ELEKTROTECHNICZNY, 85 (3): 157-160 2009
Abstract: The paper presents an algorithm, serving to divide the investment means in the distributive companies with use of the
Hellwig taxonomic method. The method allows to split the investment means, destined for the power network development and
modernization, between the organizatory divisions of a distributive company. ( Division of the investment means for the power

Title: DYNAMIC EFFICIENCY OF ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION OVER POWER NETWORKS
Source: RYNEK ENERGII, (2): 36-41 APR 2009
Abstract: This paper describes the influence of modern solutions towards network infrastructure bottlenecks affecting the
distribution efficiency of electrical energy in distributive networks. For these components, ranked high-temperature conductors
and transformers, SUPERTRAFO, supported by the author's program of the last generation STRATY'2008, passed extensive
analyses of the profitability of these type of solutions in distribution companies. The final estimation was performed on the
grounds of the coefficient ENE (Extended Network Efficiency), which permitted complex estimation of the proposed solutions.
