Laureates of the International Art Contest
“Sunshine Bookmark”
edition 2014 - „Rite of Spring”
On 3rd-4th March the jury of the International Art Contest “Sunshine Bookmark”, edition 2014 - “Rite
of Spring” consisted of Krystyna Lipka-Sztarbałło, Małgorzata Bieńkowska and Maria Ekier selected the
projects of the bookmarks submitted by the participants of the contest from 15 countries of Europe and Asia:
Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Portugal,
Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland and Ukraine.
The contest was under the Honorary Auspices of Polish First Lady Anna Komorowska.
Due to a huge number of the submitted artworks (2 130) they were classified in 12 age groups and
the group of special schools. They were estimated in 2 categories: the general category and the national
category. For the first time in the international edition of the contest no Grand Prix was given by jury.
Thanks to generosity of sponsors the first place winners of each age group in general category were
given the graphic tablets. All the winners took the statuettes, the diplomas, gift and souvenirs and the set of
20 printed bookmarks being a miniature of the of the winner’s own original projects.
