Psalm: Glory and praise for ever!.
We believe in God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is the mystery
of the Trinity: one God in three divine persons. How do we come to
have such knowledge of God? We know through God's self-revelation
in Jesus Christ and through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit.
Around this truth we base our faith.
3rd ANNUAL COLLECTION FOR SHARELIFE will be taken up on
Sunday, June 1st . It will be the third and last collection taken up this

WORLD YOUTH DAY REGIONAL CELEBRATION
will take place at Martyrs’ Shrine, Midland, Ontario from July 17-20,
2008. Download registration form at www.ocytoronto.org and
submit to the Office of Catholic Youth. If you are not planning to be in
Sydney this July, make sure you and your friends will be in Midland.

MOST HOLY TRINITY – May 18: First Holy Communion
CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION – will take place next Sunday, May
25th after the 11:00 a.m. Mass. On the solemnity of Body and Blood of
Christ the English Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m.

Today children from our parish will receive First Holy Communion

May Jesus Christ become their protector and guide on their journey
through life. We thank their parents for bringing them to the Lord’s
Table, and for teaching them the values of the importance of faith,
love and kindness towards others. Our gratitude and many thanks go
to Sr. Teresa for her dedication in preparing these children for this
Sacrament and to all those who helped in preparing this event.

49 INTERNATIONAL EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS – will be
held from June 15 – 22, 2008 in Quebec City. On Sunday, May 25th
a second collection will be taken up during each Mass to help cover
the costs of organizing this very special religious event, which will
gather Catholics from around the world. Env. are at the foyer of the
church.
CYCLONE NARGIS RELIEF & CHINA EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
Sharelife is accepting donations to support humanitarian relief
efforts underway in Myanmar and in the southwestern province of
Sichuan in China. Donations can be given: by calling ShareLife 416934-3411, online at www.sharelife.org or through our parish by
making cheques payable to: Cyclone Nargis Relief or Earthquake
Relief. An offering may also be inserted into an envelope marked
“Cyclone Relief” or “Earthquake Relief” and deposited into basket
during Sunday collection.
