® Multi-jet water meters METRON WS 2,5÷15 for cold water (up to 50°C) for remote read-out systems Description of operation Versions Type approvals, certificates ISO 9001 ISO 14001 Multi-jet water meter Metron WS is designed for measuring warm and hot usable water volume. It may be installed in horizontal (H) position. The water meter impeller is driven by number of symmetrically spaced water jets, and it is the only moving part submerged in water. Revolutions of the impeller are transmitted via the facial magnetic coupling and the massive plate to the totalizer. Dry, tightly closed totalizer, placed in separate module, totalizes volume of measured water and shows it in digital form - convenient for reading by the collector. Submultiplies of cubic metres may be read at the totalizer, and it is provided with motion indicator to make possible automatization of adjustments and verification. Adjustment device is protected against tampering. Due to special impeller bearing construction and use of materials resistant to corrosion and abrasion, high water meter durability and very stable metrological parameters throughout the whole water meter life are obtained. Depending on version, water meter is provided with transmission module with reed relay pulse transmitter to transfer information on flowing water volume to perypheral equipment, e. g. remote read-out system. Constructional solition of water meters WS are protected with utility pattern No. 55730 issued by Urz¹d Patentowy RP (Patent Office of Polish Republic). • 17 - for cold water, with removable transmission module • 17 BN - for cold water, prepared for installation of transmission module during water meter installation Depending on type / size: • G³ówny Urz¹d Miar (National Office of Measures) - Poland WATER MEASUREMENT INTEGRATED MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS ® Recommended application • METRON WS 2,5÷15 17 - for installation in DN20÷50 systems, ready for operation with perypheral equipment of remote read-out systems. • METRON WS 2,5÷15 17 BN - for installation in DN20÷50 systems. It is recommended to use them, where remote read-out system is planned for implementation during water meter operation. Note: Water meters METRON WS15 17 and 17 BN are in two versions of installation length : 300mm and 270mm. Installation length 270mm is compatible with screw (Woltman) type water meter installation length, DN 50, PN 16 with vertival impeller centre line, e.g. COSMOS WSD 50.
