Wow- Rambo is back again in yet another movie tie-in. This time he is working in a small fishing
village in China where again he is asked by Troutman to help the valiant people of Afghanistan get
rid of the lousy Russians. The movie was big US propagansa, because at the time we were enemies
with the Commies. In this book, Rambo is fighting along side the Mujahadeen and helping them
apply Al qeda ish techniques to rid the the small town of the remaining enemy forces.

unfilmable) and of course doesn't work as well.
Dialogue is often clunky, and pure exposition.
Might have worked well as a graphic novel, however.
Still, it stays on my shelf as a valued member of my well-worn action paperback collection..

najbardziej. Prosta ale ciekawa powieść o przyjaźni i męskich wartościach. W aktualnie
poukładanym świecie ciekawie się czyta o relacjach mudżahedinów będących
islamistami i amerykańskiego żołnierza będącego buddystą. Trzecia część jest
najkrwawszą ale książka nie przesadza ze zbyt dosłowną śmiercią. Ciekawa lektura
a najbardziej zaciekawi tych, co ledwo przebrnęli przez dwie pierwsze, bo jest najlepsza. Polec

I am revising my review of this book. I read it for a second time, only this time I read it aloud to my
wife at bedtime, as I did Rambo: First Blood pt II. It went great except the ending, which is a huge
cop-out. These screenplay-to-novel's work well when they are action movies, but I recently started
reading Back To The Future and so far it does not hold a candle to either of David Morrell's Rambo
adaptations. He should have written Back To The Future. The world would be very different.
