Studied in Warsaw Academy of Arts, Department of Graphic Arts. Graduated with honors in
1972.
Illustrated 13 books. Dobry potwór nie jest zły with her illustrations (A good monster is not
bad by A. Onichimowska) was edited in Korea.
Awards:
Silver Goats 1991 (Poznań) for the illustrations to the story Potwór by M. E. Letki (Monster,
Siedmioróg, 1992), honorary mentioned in the competition of the PS IBBY Book of the Year
1993 for the illustrations to the story Co się stało z naszą bajką by H. Krall (What happened
to our fairy tale).
Honorary mentioned in the contest of PTWK Most Beautiful Book of the Year 1998 for
Słownik Ortograficzny dla Najmłodszych (Spelling Dictionary for the Youngest, MNE, 1998).
BIB'99 Plaque at the International Biennial of Illustrations (Bratislava) for the illustrations to
What happened to our fairy tale by H. Krall. Listed on the international IBBY Honour List
