Metoda detekcji spoofingu globalnych
1 2 Summary The dissertation aims to discuss the issue of attacks detection ability on the global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) signal and underlines the importance of the credibility and reliability of determining the navigation position. The main objective of the study is giving the answer to the question: meeting what conditions and in what ways do the users of global navigation satellite systems can verify whether their navigation position is authentic? For this purpose, a method of detecting spoofing, which will enable to upgrade the level of the reliability of complex use of modern navigation satellite systems, increasing the security of transport systems, was devised. The dissertation discusses the security issues of the means of transport which apply global navigation satellite systems, with a particular emphasis on transport safety and the risks resulting from the use of those systems. Then the taxonomy, classification and the analysis of spoofing scenarios are presented. Types and the operation of existing spoofers and simulating devices are analyzed. Spoofing detection method has been developed for standard applications of global positioning services of satellite navigation systems based on the measurement of the distance of two receivers coupled with each other. In the final part of the dissertation, in order to verify the method, the results of simulation and physical experiments using two sets of standard GNSS positioning services and the signal relay as spoofer, are presented. The results confirm the usefulness of the proposed spoofing detection method. Spoofing detection method will help to ensure both the safety of maritime navigation and the security of ships and port facilities as well as land and aerial vehicles using GNSS and it will increase the security of the use of transportation communications in case of attempted terrorist attacks. Keywords: spoofing, GNSS, security of transport. 3
