EFFECTS OF EDUCATION (acc. to National Qualifications Framework) Knowledge Skills Competences On successful completion of the course student knows measurement systems based on computer controlled instruments and data acquisition cards, student is supposed to make measurements by computer controlled system and to write computer program for measurement system control On successful completion of the course student is supposed to select proper programming environment, select control algorithm for experimental measurement system, use it in practice and evaluate correctness of measurements. On successful completion of the course student is supposed to, use MATLAB and LabView programming environment and is able to project graphical user interface for a specified measurement task. 3. SCOPE Project Virtual oscilloscope Graphical User Interface Measurement of electrical quantities by means of computer controlled devices and Data Acquisition Cards. Generation of voltage signal. Real generator controlled by computer and DAQ-based waveform generator. Two-state and PID Controller. Project of temperature controller, application of the PID algorithm and determination of PID parameters. Investigation of Battery properties and characteristics. Measurements of battery capacitance. Electrical filters. Investigation of electrical filter properties, measurements of resonance frequency and filter characteristics. Damped electrical oscillations. Investigation of electrical impulse filter response, measurement of relaxation time and filter quality factor. Step-motor. Programming and control of step motors. Sound velocity. Measurement of the sound velocity in air by DAQ and sound signal analysis. Image measurement. Image recording by the CCD camera, image quality and resolution analysis. 6.
