A SHORT EXPLANATION OF THE PRESENTATION TO BE GIVEN AT THE
FACULTY OF ANIMAL SCIENCES, POZNAŃ UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SCIENCES
My 'Norway Orca Presentation' deals with the Orcas which come to Henningsvaer, Norway.
The presentation entails information about Orca identification, sounds, and behavior, also a
description of this area of Norway, and my work with a Marine biologist while there. The
presentation is not too long, but it may last much longer depending on whether or not people
want to hear my associated stories, for example, why I went etc. I am a linguist, so naturally I
was interested in Orca communication.
