Modernising the healthcare system in Poland includes the construction of new medical
institutions, as well as reconstructing the existing ones. New hospitals in Poland
present new clinical approach and reach for best medical technologies available.
This session will feature examples of large-scale infrastructure, technological and
innovative managerial projects in the healthcare industry in Poland and abroad,
according to which the standards for development over the next few years will be set.
The ultimate goal of a project may be to reconstruct an existing hospital, the redesign
of the inside of a building, or construction of new facilities. Each type of project is
difficult and unique in its own way, but the most important question is: ERGONOMICS.
Each project will be presented in such a way as to allow for analysis of the unique
approaches used by architects, medical technology providers and hospital managers/
owners. Effective project management requires architect, project engineer,
construction company, medical technology providers and medical staff representatives
sitting at one table.
