Baptism is celebrated on the second and fourth Sunday of the month, attend Noon Mass then Baptism immediately following. MARRIAGES: An appointment should be made with one of the priests or deacons at least six months prior to the wedding. This should be done before a date or banquet hall is reserved. SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION: Saturday: 3:30—4:15 p.m. You may also call the rectory for an appointment. SACRAMENT OF THE SICK: Call the Rectory for a priest. Please do not wait until the person is unconscious or near death. COMMUNION CALLS: If you or someone you love would like to receive Communion, call the rectory to make arrangements for regular visits. WAY OF THE CROSS PROCESSION FROM DALEY PLAZA TO CATHEDRAL Friday, April 2, 9:30 a.m. The annual Way of the Cross procession through downtown Chicago streets begins in Daley Plaza, Washington and Dearborn Streets. Participants will stop at the Chagall Mosaic, Millennium Park, Tribune Tower Plaza and Water Tower Plaza before ending at Holy Name Cathedral in time for the 12:10pm Good Friday liturgy. This procession is sponsored by Communion and Liberation, a lay ecclesial movement, together with other Catholic lay movements in the Archdiocese of Chicago. This episode should run for 50-60 minutes; followed by a discussion. Bring a friend! SCOUT TROOP 49—DVD/VHS MOVIES NEEDED The St. William Boy Scout Troop 49 knows that everybody enjoys watching movies and TV shows, that is why they will be having a donation drive for the Bethesda Home from now until March 31st. We are asking for any extra movies, TV shows, etc. that you do not use anymore or feel like giving away. DVDs and VHS tapes are all welcome. Collection bins will be placed at both main entrances at the corner of Sayre and Wrightwood where you will be able to drop off any donations. All donations are gratefully appreciated by both Troop 49 and the Bethesda Home which is located at 2833 N Nordica Ave. GIFT CARDS Cards are sold after Mass on the third Sunday of the month. You can also come to the rectory and buy cards from 9:30am—4:30pm weekdays. Do your Easter shopping here! Buy what is on hand or order something else, we have everything you could want and then some! Make it a habit to buy every week and help the school debt, without paying anything from your pocket. If you buy gas, groceries, fast food or go to Walgreens, please buy!!!
