Duch Święty uczy nas spoglądać oczyma Chrystusa
Duch Święty prowadzi Kościół, podobnie jak każdego z nas, w
poszukiwaniu prawdy. Prawda nie jest jakąś rzeczą do uchwycenia,
ale konkretną osobą do spotkania: osobą samego Jezusa Chrystusa.
Jedynie spotykając Jezusa, możemy poznać Prawdę. Duch Święty
jest zatem Parakletem, tj. tym, „który przychodzi nam z
pomocą”, by dać nam przeżyć to spotkanie i powiedzieć: „Jezus
jest Panem”. W jaki sposób to czyni? Duch Święty przypomina
nam słowa Jezusa i wpisuje w nasze serca prawo Ewangelii, które
staje się przewodnikiem naszego życia, punktem odniesienia w
naszych wyborach i postępowaniu. Co więcej, poprzez Ducha
Świętego Ojciec i Syn przychodzą, by w nas zamieszkać, dzięki
czemu nabywamy autentycznego „zmysłu wiary”. Duch Święty
umożliwia nam – bez popełniania błędów – przylgnięcie do wiary
przekazywanej i nauczanej przez Magisterium Kościoła i pozwala
nam żyć jej pełnią. Na wzór Maryi Dziewicy, która tak doskonale
potrafiła otworzyć swoje serce i przyjąć Życie, trzeba, abyśmy dali
ogarnąć się Jego światłu, tak aby
wiara w Chrystusa umarłego i
zmartwychwstałego kierowała
odtąd całym naszym życiem.

The Feast of Corpus Christi, or
the Feast of the Body and Blood of
Christ (as it is often called today), goes
back to the 13th century, but it celebrates something far older: the institution of the Sacrament of Holy Communion at the Last Supper.
We would like to invite you, especially youth, to Lednica Youth Celebration VIII on June 8, 2013. For the ninth time we will gather at St. Rosalie
parish.

We Are Not Alone
Valerie teaches small children. I was very amused recently, when on the phone, she told me:
"Kids can be charming sometimes! You will never guess what one of
the kids told me this morning! I asked him, 'What would you do if the
devil knocked at the door of your heart?' And this tiny little six year old
boy answered, 'If the devil comes knocking at the door of my heart, I
will send Jesus to open the door Himself for me.'"
I do not know who this little boy is, but if I ever meet him, I will certainly give him a big big hug, because this little boy has grasped the ultimate secret. When life becomes tough we have a choice. Either we marshal our own resources as if the outcome all depends on us or we can
see the situation as an exciting arena in which God will intervene. The
choice we make can ... build or destroy us!

Announcements:
1.
Please note that there will be a change in mass schedule for
the Summer. Beginning Memorial Day until Labor Day we will be
canceling the 12 pm Mass in English.
There will be a Polish Mass at Noon, re-scheduled from 1:30pm .
2.
Now we have volunteers in the parish office.
On Mondays the office will be open from 10 am- 2 pm; for your
convenience we will have a bilingual person from 10am – 12pm
and then from 12pm to 2pm English speaking volunteer.
On Wednesdays the office will be open from 10am to 2pm ( Spanish /English speaking volunteer)
Thank you for your involvement in our parish life.

We are looking for ushers for our 7:30 am Mass on Sundays. Please contact
Joe Russo or parish office.
4.
Flores de Mayo or “Flowers for Mary” is a month long tradition in the Philippines held in honor of Our Virgin Mother Mary. For the month of May at 10:30
am Mass, we will present flowers to Our Mother Mary to honor her.
5.
On June 2 nd we will be celebrating Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and
Blood of Christ followed by a procession after 12:00pm Mass. If you would like to
help us decorate please call the office. Thank you for your cooperation!
6.
Our Cenacle of Prayer is being held every Tuesday at 6:00 PM in Room 106 in
the school. Everyone is invited to attend.

W okresie letnim – od drugiego czerwca do 1 wrzesnia (Labor Day) - Msza polska
o godz. 13:30 będzie przeniesiona na 12:00 w południe. Nie będzie Mszy angielskiej o
12:00.

W maju w naszym kościele odprawiane są nabożeństwa majowe. Codziennie od
poniedziałku do piątku bezpośrednio przed Mszą św. o 19:00, a w niedzielę po Mszy św. o
godz. 13:30. Wszystkich serdecznie zapraszamy.!

Liderzy Posługi Imigrantow polskiej sekcji zapraszają wszystkich chętnych na spotkanie
z Kardynałem w czwartek , 30 maja o godz. 19:30 do Holy Family Catholic Church w Chicago.
Ulotki z informacją znajdują się w tyle koscioła.
4.
Ogłaszamy godziny DYŻURÓW w biurze parafialnym w poniedziałki i środy od 10:00
do 14:00.
W każdy poniedziałek od 10 rano -12 00 woluntariusz (angielsko-polski będzie pełnił dyżur) a
nastepnie od 12:00-14:00 (tylko po angielsku).
W środy dyżur będzie pełniony od 10:00- 14:00 ( tylko angielskohiszpanski ).
5.
Poświęcenie Krzyża Misyjnego odbędzie się w czasie
uroczystości Bożego Ciała, 2 czerwca – serdecznie zapraszamy!
6.
Zbliża się święto Bożego Ciała, tak więc jak co roku
poszukujemy chętnych do dekorowania ołtarzy . Dziękujemy za
pomoc!
