The "high-voltage and air conditioning training system" from the well known CarTrain range guides students even
further into the features of high-voltage systems in vehicles. The system teaches specific diagnostic skills as

The continuous development of hybrid and electric vehicle issues a challenge to automotive industry. Especially,
the high voltage battery was handled as "black box" for a long time. Nowadays, the car manufacter are easing
there restrictions and proceed to allow different maintenance work.
In order to be able to perform these tasks at the high voltage battery, the technician needs a deep and extensive
understanding of the system. The trainer is focussing the digital interconnected CAN bus communication
of each control unit of the battery management system. Further more each cell and many more components of
the high voltage battery is accessible and will be subject of diagnostic tasks.
