Gdańsk, 18 March 2016 PRESS RELEASE AMBERIF 2016 23 International Fair of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones Gdańsk, 16-19 March 2016 / AMBEREXPO rd AT THE AMBERIF BOOKSHOP AMBERIF is a magnificent opportunity to find books that are difficult to access in general circulation. This is a list of this year’s most interesting items: TREND BOOK 2016+ The sixth edition of a book recognised in the design community, by Prof. Sławomir Fijałkowski of the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts. TREND BOOK “systematise[s] the current knowledge about the forecasting of stylistic and product design trends” and aims to “carefully analyse the most important trends which characterise design and which, once interpreted, are a point of reference in the design of unique Baltic amber jewellery collections” (quotation from the author). The observations were made at key trade shows, festivals and exhibitions, along with leading trend-setting events: Milan Design Week, Paris Design Week and Dutch Design Week at Eindhoven.
