Winners of the Third Super Market Maker Competition Announced

The WSE has closed the third edition of the competition for Super Market Makers of the
top seven most liquid companies
Super Market Makers of the third edition begin to operate on 1 August 2011
The goal of this initiative of the Warsaw Stock Exchange is to create conditions for growth of trading
in shares of participating companies by extending and enriching the order book and to recognise the
most active brokers acting as market makers for the most liquid listed companies. The competition
covers the top seven companies in the WIG20 index ranking.
The WSE attaches great importance to measures improving the liquidity of trading in listed financial
instruments to the advantage of all market participants.
For the purpose of the competition, TOP7 are defined as the companies in positions from 1 to 7 in
the WIG20 ranking at the end of April 2011:

The required terms offered by Super Market Maker competition participants are: minimum value of
offer at least PLN 100 thousand, maximum spread 1.5%. The market makers participating in the
competition presented proposals on terms better than the required minimum. Three Super Market
Makers offering the best market making terms have been selected for each of the TOP7 companies.

The competition winners will apply the proposed terms for the next six months (from August to
January) and will take advantage of special financial bonuses offered by the WSE.
