The thematic areas it covers include: Discourse and Communication in Media and Politics Rhetoric, Persuasion and Propaganda Communicating across Cultures The questions it addresses can be summarized as follows: Who says what to whom in the media and politics? How do media create images in our minds? What matters in intercultural communication? Why are implicit messages successful? How to decode media messages? How to construct effective, persuasive, and logical arguments?
