CONGRESS FEE
Congress regular fee includes: admission to all the Congress sessions, the
congress proceedings, lunches, accommodation at the student campus of AGH
UST (3 nights from 4.09.2011), refreshment breaks, welcome reception, gala
dinner, dinner. Regular registrants are entitled to upload up to one final papers.
The student registration fee includes access to technical sessions, conference
proceedings, coffee breaks, opening and closing receptions. Additional papers
may be uploaded under a further payment of € 150 each/ 600 PLN. Regular fee
without accommodation at the student campus is reduced of € 40 / 160 PLN.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation for the participants will be offered at the Student Campus of
AGH UST Krakow (for more details see: http://home.agh.edu.pl/~amst/
index_en.php) as a part of the congress fee. For those which are interesting with
other hotels, organizators will prepare the list of proposed hotel accommodation
in Krakow and fee will be reduced. Krakow during September 2011 will be very
busy because Poland during second part of 2011 will be hosting European
Presidency.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL
The EUROPEAN KONES 2011 Congress will be held in a beautiful
historical town Krakow (Poland) on 4 - 7 September 2011. Krakow a city
wrapped in legend, where time flows differently, and where every moment
becomes a moment of history (http://www.krakow.pl/en/). For centuries Krakow
was the capital of Poland, the seat of kings, drawing great scholars and artists
from the whole world. It is their talents and imagination we must thank for the
city's rich legacy of unique historical relics, which reflect the most important
trends in European culture.
Krakow can readily be reached from Warsaw by air or an express rail and
intercity train service (http://rozklad-pkp.pl/?q=en/node/143). Direct flights from
some countries also exist (Krakow Balice Airport) and there are a number of
direct international connections to both East and West (http://

September in Poland is reputed to be usually dry and warm. Temperature is

PAPERS
All the papers will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee
and by International Editorial Advisory Board and after acceptance will be
printed in the International Scientific Journal of KONES (ISSN 1231 4005) (9
points in Polish system). Offered papers shall not have been published
elsewhere. The papers should be written in English (in single column one line
spacing, not more than 8 pages of A4 format of 210 x 297 mm including title,
abstract, tables, figures and references. The text should not be formatted. The
title of the paper should be written in bold capital letters in the centre of the
column (14 points). Below please place names of the authors (12 points bold),
the institutions and full addresses (12 points italic including phone and fax
numbers, and e-mail), below an abstract (10 points italic), and keywords (12
points). Abstract should have not less than 200 and not more than 300 words.
Numbered chapter titles should be written in bold capital letters (12 points) on
the left side of a page. All cited references should be listed at the end of the
text in alphabetical order. All graphics should be inserted into proper pages.
Descriptions under figures and over tables (10 points italic) should not be on
graphics. Margins of the first page are: 40 mm top and 21 mm left and right,
25 mm bottom. Margins of the other pages are: 21 mm left and right, 25 mm
top and bottom. Line spacing - 1. Fonts: only Times New Roman, 14, 12 and

EUROPEAN CONGRESS KONES 2011 - PRELIMINARY REGISTRATION FORM
TOPICS
The latest achievements in research, development and design of both
compression-ignition and spark-ignition as well as other combustion engines
(hybrids) with special attention to bio-fuels, ecology, injection and spray, fuel
economy, combustion processes, mixture preparation, exhaust after treatment,
particulars filters, thermodynamics and heat transfer, noise and acoustics,
durability and reliability, new experimental methods, new materials
(composite) and production technologies, tribology, engine parts, fuel and
lubricants, other alternative fuels (including hydrogen), fuel cells and
converters, electric drive standards, noise and vibration, diagnostics (OBD),
catalysis, catalyst systems, fuels derived from plants and animals and
agriculture engineering.
The Congress topics also include the problems of research, design and
development for the different kinds of vehicles with a especial attention on
new generation of vehicles, reliability and durability, servicing and
maintenance, recycle engineering, safety, environment protection, air pollution
control, as well human and nature ecology, law and social aspects of
environment protection, simulation and modeling. The objects of the Congress
are the problems of land, sea and air vehicles with a particular regard on
connection with power train, ecology, safety, simulation and modeling.
The exhibition as well other forms of presentation and promotion of
institutions and companies are possible for additional costs. Copy of an
