VIEWPOINT SZCZELINA LECHICKA
The viewpoint Szczelina Lechicka offers one of the greatest views in the whole
Kashubian Lake District, and yet is one of the less well-known attractions of
the area. You can get there by following the Red Trail from Mirachowo or
Kamienica Królewska. The view stretches over the valley of the Potęgowskie
Lakes, a chain of ten ribbon lakes. The chain of lakes runs in east-west
direction, which is untypical for these glacial formations. The main lake of the
vale is Lake Potęgowskie. The area around the viewpoint is a nature reserve of
the same name. The reserve has been created to protect Lake Kocenko, the
glacial relief, and the unique flora of the vale’s wooded slopes.
