Java basics and Java programming environment. PHP programming, Internet based databases. Additional material: Lectures and task sheets available at the beginning of each laboratory exercise. Credits: Each of the 12 lab exercises is evaluated by the teacher in the 0-5 points range. The attained number of points depends on the student’s theoretical preparation, practical efficiency in solving lab tasks and lab exercise report quality. In order to pass the whole lab student is obliged to: - attain at least 3.0 points from at least 10 lab exercieses, AND - attain at least 36.0 points from all lab exercises. Grading scale: 0 – 35 points – no pass, 36 – 40 points – 3.0 grade, 41 – 45 points – 3.5 grade, 46 – 50 points – 4.0 grade, 51 – 55 points – 4.5 grade, 56 – 60 points – 5.0 grade.
