Elobau – spojrzenie w historię. 1972- została założona firma Elobau Elektrobauelemente GmbH
& Co. KG. Wynaleziono pierwszy czujnik magnetyczny bazujący na technologii kontaktronowej
i rozpoczęto jego sprzedaż. 1977 – Elobau zwiększa produkcję poprzez konstruowanie własnych
narzędzi do wytłaczarek. Ten sam rok przynosi pierwszy zbliżeniowy czujnik bezpieczeństwa. 1980
– istniejący program produkcji został poszerzony o czujniki z certyfikatami Ex. 1990 – ważny rok w
zacieśnianiu relacji z producentami pojazdów (wprowadzenie dźwigni sterującej kierunkiem ruchu).
1995 – dołączenie do grupy czujników bezpieczeństwa maszyn czujników i magnesów w wykonaniach higienicznych. Otwiera to drogę do przemysłu spożywczego. 1996 prezentacja pierwszego
bezstykowego joysticka i nowych rur ssących otwiera drogę do przemysłu pojazdów roboczych.
1998 – w związku z dużym zainteresowaniem rynku , rozszerzona zostaje gama produktów z zakresu
bezpieczeństwa maszyn. Prezentacja podwójnego systemu N/O. 2004- nowość rynkowa- pierwszy
bezrtęciowy czujnik wychyłu. 2005 – prezentacja czujników bezpieczeństwa o ciekawym wzornictwie, przy zachowaniu pełnej funkcjonalności. 2006- uruchomienie produkcji czujników wychyłu z
innowacyjnymi obudowami. Dostępne są wyjścia analogowe jak i cyfrowe. 2007 – wprowadzenie
na rynek joysticków miniaturowych. 2008 – Elobau kontynuuje ekspansję. Uruchomienie drugiej
fabryki i nowego budynku biurowego. Przedstawienie przycisku serii Nano.
elobau - a glance backward at history. 1972 elobau Elektrobauelemente GmbH & Co. KG
is founded and develops the first magnetic proximity switch on a dry reed contact basis for hay
distribution equipment. 1977 elobau expands production by constructing its own tools with plastic
moulding machines and in the same year brings out the world’s first proximity safety switch. 1980 a
plunger switch based on dry reed contact for gear boxes gives birth to a new product group: vehicle
components. 1989 The existing product programme was extended by the addition of explosion proof
switches. 1990 The introduction of elobau’s first FNR was significant in elobau’s burgeoning relationship with the Industrial Vehicle Industry. 1995 elobau introduces a special sensor with hygiene magnet
to the Machine Safety programme and supports in this way the Food Industry in meeting their quality
standards. 1996 With the introduction of the first non-contacting joystick and also the new suction
pipe, elobau again confirmed the reliability of reed-technology. 1998 Due to high demand from the
industry, the Machine Safety Sensor programme was increased with the introduction of the 2-N/O

contact system. 2004 new on the market: the first mercury-free tilt switch. 2005 The release of the
Machine Safety ‘Design’ sensor marked the change from pure functionality to aesthetic design. 2006 A
new tilt switch with an innovative housing expands the product line. Both, digital and analogue outputs,
are available. 2007 the miniature joystick is placed on the market. 2008 elobau continues its expansion. A second production plant and a new office building are completed. Introduction of the nano push
button switch.

elobau - retour sur l’histoire. 1972 Fondation de la société elobau Elektrobauelemente
GmbH & Co. KG et développement des premiers détecteurs de proximité magnétiques sur la base de
contacts Reed pour installations destinées à la distribution du foin. 1977 elobau élargit la production
avec son propre atelier d’outillage et d’injection de matière plastique et lance la même année sur le
marché le premier interrupteur de sécurité au monde travaillant sans contact. 1980 Avec un interrupteur poussoir pour engrenage, sur la base d’un contact Reed, naît un nouveau groupe de produits: les
composants de véhicules. 1989 Les interrupteurs antidéflagrants viennent compléter le programme
de produit existant.1990 L’unité inverseur FNR qui est introduite cette année représente un autre pas
dans la direction des composants pour véhicules. 1995 Les interrupteurs avec des aimants aseptiques
apportent un standard de qualité plus élevée dans l’industrie alimentaire. 1996 Avec le premier Joystick et le nouveau tube d’aspiration elobau confirme encore la fiabilité de cette technologie. 1998 En
raison de la demande très forte, le programme de sécurité pour machines est élargit par une version

détecteur „Design“ configurable allie fonctionnalité pure et esthétisme technologique. En 2006 un
nouveau capteur de dévers avec boitier vient enrichir la gamme des produits. Les sorties analogiques
et digitales sont disponibles. En 2007 le joystick miniature arrive sur le marché. En 2008 Elobau poursuit son expansion avec la construction d’une seconde unité de production et de nouveaux bureaux

strength: at elobau we carry out all the processes of development and production in our own company.
The basis for this is a standardised quality management in line with DIN ISO EN 9001:2000. This means

Elobau. Bezkontaktowe czujniki są używane w monitorowaniu bezpieczeństwa maszyn. Aby
zapewnić najwyższe standardy bezpieczeństwa, czujniki nie zużywają się podczas pracy oraz są
łatwe w montażu. Są aktywowane przez kodowane magnesy i nie mają mechanicznych styków
które mogą zostać uszkodzone. Elementy te spełniają klasy ochrony do IP69K. Wszystkie systemy
bezpieczeństwa (składające się czujników i kontrolerów) spełniają normę EN-954-1 oraz wymagania kategorii 1-4. Dodatkowo nowe systemy spełniają normę IEC EN 61508 (SIL) oraz ISO 13849-1
(PL).
Everything you need for the safety of man and machine from one source – that
is what the elobau product range provides. Non contacting sensors are used for machine
guard monitoring. They satisfy high protection standards, are free from wear and tear, and are particularly easy to install. They are activated by coded magnets and do not have mechanical switching
contacts. Therefore they comply with high protection class (up to IP 69K). All machine safety systems
– consisting of control units and sensors – are approved according to DIN EN 954-1 and fulfill safety
categories 1-4. Additionally, the new systems are approved according to IEC/DIN EN 61508 (SIL) and
DIN ISO 13849-1 (PL) standards.
La gamme de produits elobau permet d’assurer aussi bien la protection de
l’homme que celle de la machine. Pour la surveillance de la protection des machines, on offre
des détecteurs sans contact offrant un haut degré de protection, tout en étant exempt d’usure et
faciles à installer. Ils sont actionnés par des aimants codés et n’utilisent pas de contacts mécaniques.
Ceci permet d’assurer des indices de protection très élevés (jusqu’à IP 69K). Tous les systèmes se
composent d’unités de contrôle et de détecteurs homologués selon la norme EN 954-1 et satisfaisant

Kompleksowy modułowy system firmy Elobau zapewnia przedstawienie klientowi zindywidualizowanych produktów po przystępnych cenach. W zależności od wymagań klientów, oferujemy wskaźniki poziomu z właściwie dowolnymi punktami przełączania, quasi analogowe z
rozdzielczością do 5mm, i tanie pojemnościowe wskaźniki poziomu. Próbki w pojemnościowych
wskaźnikach poziomu mogą być przycinane na wymiar i kalibrowane przez klienta. Elobau oferuje
również klapowe czujniki poziomu.
A comprehensive modular system provides the basis for the configuration of individual level
indicators – cost-efficient and directly suited to customer needs. Depending on requirements, we offer
level indicators with almost any defined switching points, quasi-analog with dry reed resistor chains
and a resolution of up to 5mm and low cost capacitive level indicators. The probes in the capacitive
level indicators can be cut to length by the user and simply calibrated at the touch of a button. For bulk
solids we offer silo switches.
Un vaste système modulaire constitue la base pour configurer des détecteurs de niveau financièrement avantageux et adaptés aux besoins du client. Suivant les demandes, nous offrons: des
détecteurs de niveau dont les points de commutation peuvent être quasiment définis à volonté, des
détecteurs de niveau quasi-analogiques avec chaîne de résistance Reed et une résolution jusqu’à 5mm,
ainsi que des sondes de niveau capacitives économiques. La longueur des sondes capacitives peut être

elobau proximity switches are endowed with a particularly long lifetime. They meet
the requirements of a high protection class and are guaranteed to be simple to install. All the varieties
use dry reed contacts as switch elements. Proximity switches are usually operated with magnets. Vane
switches and steel proximity switches are the exception – these are operated by a ferrous metal. Some
types of proximity switches have ATEX approval.
Les détecteurs de proximité elobau jouissent d’une longévité particulièrement
grande. Les détecteurs assurent un haut degré de protection et garantissent un montage simple.
Toutes les versions travaillent avec un contact Reed en tant qu’élément de commutation. En principe,
les détecteurs de proximité sont actionnés à l’aide d’un aimant. Les interrupteurs à fente ainsi que

Explosion proof switches. Anywhere gas or dust is released, circulated, and mixed together with a
reactive substance such as oxygen in the air, there is a potential danger of explosions. These dangers are particularly present in the chemical industry, in paintshops, mills or tank facilities. These are
ideal locations for the non-contact ATEX sensors. Proximity switches use the contactless technology
too. For larger switching distances magneto-resistive types are also available in the standard programme.
Interrupteurs antidéflagrants. Partout où du gaz ou de la poussière s’échappent, circulent dans
l’air et sont mélangés à une autre substance réactive, comme l’oxygène de l’air, il existe un risque

Jeden czujnik, różne strefy działania. Wszystkie czujniki elektroniczne bazują na technologii bezkontaktowej i działają przy użyciu magnesów . Program produkcji zawiera czujniki Halla oraz magnetorezystancyjne. Elobau wykonuje również niestandardowe typy czujników.
One Sensor – different operational distances. All the electronic sensors work on a noncontacting basis using magnets – this includes Hall and magnetoresistive sensors. The exceptions are
the gear-wheel sensors which use a ferrous gear-wheel. The advantage of magnetoresistive sensors
is that the same sensor, a standard small model, can be used for different operational distances. The
operational distances which can be achieved depend only on the strength of the magnet used. All the
models can also be delivered with non-wearing Hall sensors. Besides the various standard models, we
also manufacture customized housings to your requirements.

Les détecteurs à roue dentée font cependant exception à la règle: un pignon ferromagnétique suffit
à leur actionnement. L’avantage particulier des détecteurs magnéto-résistifs est que l’on peut utiliser
uniformément le même détecteur de faible dimension pour des distances d’actionnement différentes,
l’écart d’actionnement possible dépendant uniquement de l’intensité de l’aimant utilisé. Toutes les formes sont également fournies avec un détecteur Hall exempt d’usure. Outre plusieurs formes standard,
nous réalisons également des boîtiers spécifiques aux clients, conformément à leurs besoins.

Magnesy mogą być dostarczane z obudową lub bez niej. Odległości między czujnikiem a magnesem

The elobau programme offers a wide choice of OXID, AINiCo and SEKO magnets which can
be supplied with or without housings. The distances between the switch and the sensor to be used –
depending on the application – can be set to almost any requirements. All the plastic magnets are made
here at elobau and, as a result, are available in any shape and size depending on customer needs.

The huge standard programme with its diversity of housings offers optimal solutions for almost any application. The various types of clamp or the dovetail connections directly integrated into
the switch mean that the switches can be fitted of any type of cylinder. Our range also includes pneumatic cylinder switches for T-section cylinders. All the models can be supplied with dry reed contact
with variable power capacities or in the electronic version. If you wish, we can develop completely new
customer-specific sensors to meet your requirements.

Elobau oferuje czujniki ze sworzniem do ekstremalnie trudnych warunków pracy. Czujniki te
posiadają klasę ochrony IP67. Element przełączający (kontaktron), jest dobrze chroniony przed
czynnikami zewnętrznymi (przed kurzem i wilgocią). Czujniki mogą być dostarczane ze specjalnymi wtyczkami (np. AMP Superseal). Dodatkowo posiadamy szeroki wybór korpusów (także wersji
specjalnych). Możemy dostarczać specjalne produkty bez dużych zmian w oprzyrządowaniu, co
pozwala na utrzymanie dobrej ceny.

elobau plunger switches are extremely resistant to environmental hazards, and all types
meet protection class IP 67. The switching element, a reed contact, and the connecting wires are all
potted to avoid dust and humidity penetration, and for connecting to the switch, different connectors
are recommended (e.g. AMP Superseal). In addition to the large variety of standard switch bodies that
we have available, we can also deliver units in customized housings. By using the inserts of standard
switches, we can provide customized products without tooling charges.
Nos interrupteurs poussoirs sont extrêmement résistants et idéalement adaptés aux
utilisations en environnement difficile. L’élément de commutation, un interrupteur reed et les fils de
connexion sont encapsulés les protégeant entièrement contre l’humidité et la poussière et conférant aux

Nasze wszystkie joysticki bazują na technologii modułowej. Dostępne są one w wielu rozmiarach i wykonaniach. Oś X i Y może być konfigurowana osobno, w zależności od wymagań klienta. Mechanizm, włączając
w to magnesy aktywujące, są oddzielone od modułów elektronicznych. Pozwala to na uzyskanie klasy
ochrony IP67 dla wszystkich wersji. Meduły elektroniczne bazujące na czujnikach Halla mogą generować
następujące sygnały wyjściowe: prądowe, napięciowe, napięciowe proporcjonalne, punkty przełączania,
analogowe redundantne, CAN lun CAN redundantne. Wszystkie joysticki są dostępne w dwóch standardach
EMC - dla przemysłu (10V/m) lub specjalnie dla przemysłu motoryzacyjnego (200V/m). Seria J4 to wykonanie odporne na ekstremalnie trudne warunki (z obciążalnością statyczną 2000N na osi X i Y, 700N na osi Z).
Wielofunkcyjna dźwignia z przyciskami (do 8 sztuk), dwoma kółkami potencjometrycznymi, dwoma diodami LED na stronie czołowej i jeden przycisk aktywujący na wewnętrznej stronie - wszystkie te elementy
mogą być wbudowane w dźwignię J4. Możliwe jest także użycie mechanizmu blokującego dla wilu pozycji.
Modułowa konstrukcja mechanizmu pozwala na łatwe dopasowanie do do wymagań klienta.
All our joysticks are based on a modular design. They are available in different sizes and designs, and x and
y axis can be configured separately, depending on requirements. The mechanism, including the actuating
magnets, is separated from the electronic modules, allowing for a IP 67 protection class for all the versions.
The Hall effect based electronic modules can generate the following types of output signal: current, voltage, ratiometric voltage, switching points, analogue redundant, CAN or CAN redundant. All joysticks are
available with both EMC standard for the industry (10 V/m) or EMC standard for the automotive industry
(200 V/m). The J4 series has an extremely robust design with 2000 N static load capacity on x and y axis, and
700 N on thnoe z axis. A multifunctional knob with up to eight push button switches, two thumbwheel controls, two LED’s on the front side and one activation switch on the reverse side can be mounted on the J4. An
optional locking mechanism in the central position is also available. The modular mechanical design allows
for detent points located at different positions, and customer specific adjustments are always possible.
Tous les joysticks sont conçus de façon modulaire. Ils peuvent être configurés différemment sur
l’axe x et l’axe y et sont livrables en différentes tailles et versions, suivant les besoins. Grâce à la separation
entre la partie mécanique dotée d’aimants actionneurs, et la partie électronique dotée de capteurs à effet Hall,
l’indice de protection IP 67 peut être obtenu pour toutes les variantes. Les signaux de sortie sont émis par
l’électronique, sous forme de courant, tension, tension ratiométrique, sortie tout-ou-rien, analogique redondant, CAN ou CAN redondant. Toutes les versions de joysticks sont livrables conformément à la norme CEM
industrielle (10 V/m) ou à la norme CEM pour l’industrie automobile (200 V/m). La série J4 est conçue avec une

Wszystkie przyciski Elobau spełniają wymagania stopnia ochrony IP67. Standardowe wykonania
obejmują mocowania: z gwintami M30, M12, zatrzaskowe, bagnetowe. Główki przycisków dostępne
są w wielu kolorach z inskrypcjami lub symbolami zatwierdzonymi przez klienta. Jako opcja możliwe
jest podświetlenie przycisków. Możliwe są także przyciski z dwoma kontaktronami oraz z diodą LED.
Przyciski M30 mogą być wyposażone w przyłącza AMP-6.3. Przyłącza AMP 6.3 lub Deutsch mogą
być zintegrowane w obudowie przycisku.
All elobau push button switches meet the requirements of the IP 67 protection
class. Alongside M 30 thread types, 12mm diameter miniature types with bayonet, latch and M 12
thread mounting are also available. The push buttons caps come in different colors and can be printed
with symbols, or other graphic inscriptions as required. Backlighting and function lighting versions are
also available as an option. It is also possible to incorporate dual switching contacts or a LED. The
M 30 push buttons can be supplied with AMP-6.3 push fit terminals, AMP Superseal or 3 pole Deutsch
connectors integrated in the push button housing.
Toutes les formes de boutons poussoirs sont conformes à l’indice de protection
IP 67. Outre une version avec filetage M 30, nous proposons également des versions miniaturisées
avec un diamètre extérieur de 12 mm seulement et pouvant être fixées soit par un système à baïonnette, un ergot ou un filetage M 12. Les capuchons des boutons poussoirs sont livrés en différentes
couleurs, et peuvent être pourvus de pictogrammes de commande ou autres inscriptions graphiques
sur demande. Des versions avec rétro-éclairage et éclairage de fonction sont également disponibles
en option. Il est également possible d’intégrer un deuxième contact ou une diode LED. Les boutons
M 30 sont livrables avec des cosses AMP 6.3 mm, des connecteurs Superseal ou Deutsch directement
integrés dans le boîtier.

Czujniki kąta obrotu Elobau są z powodzeniem używane w wielu pojazdach i aplikacjach
przemysłowych. Dają one analogową informację o ruchu obrotowym . Wszystkie czujniki kąta obrotu dostępne są z wyjściem prądowym lub napięciowym (również proporcjonalnym). Czujniki te
spełniają wymagania klasy ochrony IP67. Jako opcja możliwe są także wyjścia CAN cyfrowe oraz z
redundancją.

elobau angle sensors are successfully used in many vehicle and industrial applications to give analog readings of rotary motion. All angle-type sensors are available with a voltage or
current output as well as a ratiometric voltage output and meet the requirements of protection class
IP 67. As an option, a redundant output signal or a CAN output is also possible.
Les capteurs d’angle de rotation sont utilisés avec succès pour de nombreuses
applications dans le domaine industriel et des véhicules, où ils servent à transmettre

Grupa czujników wychyłu zawiera nową generację - zgodnie z dyrektywą EU ROHS – czujniki mają
wyjścia cyfrowe i nie zawierają rtęci. Jeden czujnik potrafi monitorować dwie osie w dwóch poziomach (np. osiem różnych kątów). Jako opcja występować mogą wyjścia przekaźnikowe z opóźnieniem
lub bez. Czujniki analogowe mogą występować z wyjściami napięciowymi lub prądowymi, proporcjonalne napięciowe z lub bez dodatkowego wyjścia cyfrowego. Wszystkie modele spełniają
założenia klasy ochrony IP67 i są dostępne w wielu konfiguracjach.
Along with analog tilt sensors, this product group also includes the new generation – in accordance with EU ROHS guidelines – of mercury-free tilt sensors with digital outputs. With one switch
it is possible to monitor two axes in up to two levels, i.e. at eight different angles. As an option, relay
outputs with or without time delay are available. The analog tilt sensors come with a choice of voltage
or current outputs, a ratiometric voltage output or with an additional digital output. All models meet
protection class IP 67 requirements and are available in various configurations.
En plus des détecteurs d’inclinaison analogiques, ce groupe de produit comprend également la génération la plus récente de détecteurs d’inclinaison exempts de mercure conforme à
la directive EU-ROHS, avec sorties digitales. Un détecteur permet de surveiller deux axes sur
deux plans maximum, c’est-à-dire dans huit angles différents. Des sorties relais avec ou sans temporisation peuvent être livrées en option. Les détecteurs d’inclinaison analogiques sont disponibles au choix avec sorties de tension ou de courant, sortie de tension ratiométrique ou bien

Our range of cable sets starts with simple cables of different lengths and extends to complex
cable harnesses for customized all-in-one solutions, as they are used in the elobau „Armrest.“ Several
common plugs are included in the standard assortment. Special solutions can also be provided.
La gamme de nos jeux de câble comprend non seulement de simples câbles de différentes

Thanks to many years of experience gained working with leading tractor and construction
machinery, the vehicle component product group is today one of our core competences. Depending
on the particular application, we develop and manufacture exclusive and customer-specific solutions.
A wide range of standard components provides an affordable basis for individual modifications. Almost
all of the components are equipped with non-contacting switch elements which means that they
are affected by neither dust nor moisture and are consequently perfectly suited for use in vehicle
construction.
