Elton John - brytyjski piosenkarz, kompozytor, pianista i legenda światowego show-biznesu, urodził się w
1947 roku, jako Reginald Kenneth Dwight. Jego pierwsza płyta "Empty Sky" ukazała się w roku 1969. We
wczesnych latach 70. stał się niekwestionowaną supergwiazdą.
W ciągu ponad 30 lat kariery wydał ponad 30 albumów i jako jeden z niewielu artystów popowych zdołał
utrzymać niezmienną popularność przez cały okres swej twórczości. Utwory takie jak "I'm Still Standing",
"Nikita", "Blue Eyes", " Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", czy "You Gotta Love Someone" cieszą się wciąż
niesłabnącą popularnością. W 1994 roku Elton John został wprowadzony do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a
trzy lata później otrzymał tytuł szlachecki. Brytyjczyk niedawno ogłosił swoją europejską trasę
